What weapons would you like to see in the game?

I think we really need some sort of plastic flare gun, or at least 12 gauge flares or baring that 12 gauge incendiary rounds; or in other words MORE THINGS TO START THE BEAUTIFULLL FIRRREESS!!

A broken bottle. Take a bottle and disassemble it, to get a broken one.

How would disassembling a glass bottle break it? You would have to hit something with it to smash it.

Didn’t examine the whole thread, so here’s my ideas:

Stun baton - very high chances to stagger an enemy
Various gatling-type machineguns - BECAUSE THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH DAKKA. Needs 13 to 16 strength(depends on gun model) to wield and very heavy.
More gauntlet-type weapons like knuckles - maybe in form of a gloves with high encumbrance? Dunno, lol.
Tomahawks - it’s hard to find enough hatchets sometimes.
Harpoon guns. Because harpoon guns. Zombie sharks in sewers would also be acceptable.
Whip - goddamit, why would I even want it ingame?

I like those and the broken bottle idea.

Suddenly I came up with a rather wild idea for a weapon.

Thermobaric bombs.
Activating them triggers the “sprayed fuel” tiles to spread in smoke pattern, then after some turns central one ignites. Some weird algorhytm calculates the power of explosion and then WHOOSH - all “sprayed fuel” tiles go boom-boom.
This would be laggy as hell, but also insanely useful when outnumbered - or just if you want to get rid of that goddamn office tower.
Igniting version would also be acceptable but it’s and overkill, I think.

That’s what would happen in my head when you “disassemble” it. But having bottles break when you hit with them, is both this idea and more!

The Gyrojet allows for an interesting mechanic although I don’t know if it would be possible.

Gyrojet rounds leave the gun barrel extremely slowly and you can actually stop someone shooting you with one by just putting your hand over the end of the gun. Or throwing yourself onto the gun point blank.

It would be an oddity like other things in the game. Check out the website www.firequest.com, plenty of examples for new ammo. What I would love is a Striker 12 shotgun. The reason for the 12 on the end was the only model of Striker legal to sell in the U.S. The low recoil and high capacity would be great, but it would be rare to find in gun shops. Also check out the KSG and possibly add shotgun suppressors, to craft it would need two normal suppressers. Improved suppressers would use a pipe and a few pieces of scrap metal and a higher mechanic skill.

Actually some other special shotgun ammo would be greatly appreciated.

We need types effective against skeletons. Bolas rounds would be easier to hit them with (and possibly decapitate). Or high explosive rounds (assume you aimed at the ground and hit them in the blast).

Also, it would make using special weapon effects easier if you could (for example) put tear gas rounds into a shotgun instead of throwing individual canisters.
