There were, and then they were modpacked/blacklisted on account of their age. Muzzleloading firearms are still in production these days, too–just not as common as cartridge-based ones.

I always wonder how popular modern muzzleloaders are… at any walmart or outdoors type store in PA they always had the packs of ammo on the shelves (looks like metal pellets with colorful plastic highlights), I know they also have their own hunting seasons (like bows) but I’ve never actually seen one.

Ridiculously popular. Lots of hunters have a thing for muzzleloaders here in IL as well.

Modern muzzleloaders usually use propellant pellets, like Pyrodex, which don’t actually make a cloud of smoke. Back a hundred or more years ago, yeah they made a huge black cloud when fired, but modern powders are much cleaner than they used to be.

I would appreciate a Lee-Enfield Firearm, with .303 Calibre bullets as well.

The reason I say this is because the Enfield is a fairly common hunting arm (despite it’s military origin) and is very commonly overlooked.

I guess as this is more about guns and stuff my request is not entirely appropriate, but still:

I would really like to see more meele weapons.
Especially “makeshift” ones, that can be crafted. Right now, when starting in a shelter there is a handful of weapons you can craft.

Also: (may be already in the game)

Different fencing weapons (sabre, epee, foil)
A cleaver (also good for the “chef” profession)
Tennis racket (also upgradeable with spikes and/or nails and stuff.)
Small folding chairs for bashing those zeds (I believe those really might be implemented)
A small, handheld ventilator, that has been equipped with sharp blades.

On far ends of the sticks are spiked balls, except instead of spikes it has chainsaw blades, lots of them, and the chainsaw blades are on fire, and the fire is radioactive, and instead of a chain it has the severed torso and arms of a still-animate zombiebear, and it sprays toxic acid whenever it is swung, and the handles menace with spikes of other spikes, and the handles are actually shotguns, and there is a mininuke hidden inside the zombear, and the chainsaws are covered in mutagen, and the whole weapon is invisible, and I can wield it with 1 melee or firearm skill and 4 strength…
