What weapons would you like to see in the game?

Not all of them. Did you enable the mods? Flintlock ammo and 700nx never had a problem before.

Is .50AE in? Haven’t seen it. Big ol’ brutalizer, perfect for those big zombies.
Going the typical Desert Eagle route wouldn’t be much fun so let’s switch it up.

People these days seem to be getting keen on converting various pistols and carbines to .50AE. Barely out of its infancy, I feel. So, why not make up some future goodies?

Seems the Deagle ingame is loaded with .44 magnum, and no, .50AE isn’t in. Maybe we should have some guns have a chance to be chambered in different calibres, say you find several DEagles, each chambered in any of 9mm, .44, or .50.

Side note: Too bad the AS Val and the VSS Vintorez don’t have a snowballs chance in hell of making it stateside. I would love to go to town on some zeds with an integrally suppressed assault rifle or sniper rifle.

Desert Eagles generally come in .357 Magnum (9 round mag), .44 Magnum (8 rounds) and .50 Action Express (7 rounds). These days, at least. Proper factory conversions are readily available. A DE Conversion Kit would be neat. Use, select caliber. :slight_smile:

The Jericho 941 “Baby Eagle” (15 rounds) might be as close as you’ll get to a 9mm DE. Still a whole different gun though.

.357 Magnum probably hasn’t made it in yet either. Really should be a thing. Lots of good weapons to pick from, good stopping power.

Pneumatic turret. Solar cell, car battery, pneumatic assault rifle, basic turret components, load it up with pebbles. Build a couple dozen of them and watch the zombears die to a thousand cuts…
Caseless ammunition turrets, for those who, for whatever reason, not that any come to mind, do not have 90000 9mm casings…
40mm turrets, for those who want to hear something coming, even if it isn’t coming anymore…

Has there been a suggestion for a Winchester 1887, or the Winchester Rifle?[/quote]In the past, I did suggest that the .38 ammo type be omitted and replaced with the .357 ammo type, with .357 Magnum, .357 Hollow Point, but keeping .38 Special; sort of like what Fallout: New Vegas does.

I tried doing so myself before, and adding the Winchester Model 1894 chambered in .357 and the Colt Python. I unfortunately never got the chance to actually test them out.

Last time I suggested the Winchester 1887, I was told it was either “too similar” to the Remington 870, or that the hassle of adding 10-gauge shells wasn’t worth the effort (an argument I recently made against someone’s suggestion of the H&K G11).

Thompson .45ACP SMG with foregrip and 50-rd drum mag. Last I heard the rounds tended to rattle a bit in the mag but it certainly had good stopping power.

Yeah, we have the PPSh in Stick-mag form, I’m surprised there’s no Tommy with at least the 20 or 30 round mag.

I guess it’s kinda fair since I don’t see no Dragunov SR (10-round 7.62×54mmr) in the game.

Also, VSS supressed SR (10/20 round 9x39mm) is an interesting piece from motherland.

Yeah, I was talking about the VSS and AS earlier, I don’t know if it would fit in the setting, but I might end up putting together stats for them. Maybe set it up as a heli crash item or other military only spawns.

VSS discussions come and go. Bla bla, Russian spec ops, doesn’t belong in America, bla bla.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I expected, I’m just putting it together for myself really.

As for weapons that aren’t guns, since we haven’t had one of those mentioned in a while, get crazy with some survivor shenanigans and the cordless drill? Stick it on the end of a pole and (a)ctivate it to get some spinning drillbit stabbings going on? Presumably it would be unwieldy as all get out, thanks to putting so much weight on one end, but still… we need a use for the cordless drill.

It occurs to me that pretty much all weapons would be single-round reload in the absence of spare magazines… Perhaps spare magazines should be common and very stackable with very few drawback, and perhaps the current spare magazine should be replaced with taping two magazines together… Of course, this is all just busywork and maybe wouldn’t produce a positive fun function…

Oh, and manual 40mm guns on a vehicle, possible with a fixed firing direction, to blow up obstacles…

It would certainly make plowing down a city street (or through a building) much easier, provided you have the ammunition to spare.
