Enjoy

Gotta have crappy surplus 7.62x54R ammo if we’re gonna have Nagants.

Any chance we could add this little abomination?

The .50 BMG is already in the game, I made it myself, and had it PRed by BlueMoonDude.

Let’s make stuff up.

The Bates Mk. II, twin-barrel combat shotgun.
One pull of the trigger gives you both barrels, baby. One might call this weapon rather… super. Semi-automatic with a wide 10 round magazine, giving you five powerful shots. Kerblammy! Ain’t the future grand?

…just so someone’s gonna have to add a this-thing-uses-2-ammo-per-use tag or something.

…I posted an idea about a double barrel auto shotgun somewhere… But can’t find it.

One weapon that I want and I’m going to try to implement soon is:

The Fist of Tulkas

If you’ve never heard of it (booooo!) it’s the most powerful fist-type weapon in Castlevania SOTN.

Are you going to make a Crissaegrim too?

( Not gonna lie I didn’t read this whole thread so these might already be on here )

Gas-Canister Knife: (Injects liquid nitrogen into the victim )

Chainsaw Bayonet: http://youtu.be/3ljd_hUxCfI

AA12 Automatic Shotgun: http://youtu.be/hhstuvzMiB0

This is the best suggestion yet.

Rather than add vanity guns (ohmygawditsmyfavoritcallofdootygunevah) it would be fun to add more fictional guns. This ameliorates the entire issue wherein y’all argue about the numbers for a particular weapon, and also the recurring issue wherein folks are adamant about having a particular weapon added despite the fact that it A: never got past of the prototype stage, B: never got adopted by any military or produced in production quantities, or C: is a weird obscure thing from the other side of the planet that never even caught on in its homeland.

So, yeah, throw out some cool ideas for fictional shooters and they might just find their way into the game.

Hm… How hard do you think it would be to code a weapon that uses random junk as ammunition and have damage based on the junks weight?

you suck up a 5l V8 engine into you Matter-Cannon.
You fire your Matter-Cannon at the zombie brute.
The zombie brute splatters and is thrown out of your sight.
You dance and kiss your Matter-Cannon.

It would be the most OP gun in the game

With all this talk of guns I am shocked and appalled at the lack of an XM214 microgun “six pack”.

It seems so obvious.

It’s not currently possible with the way the ranged weapon system works.

It’s a cool idea though!

Yeah. Actually somewhere around this blackhole I call a desk is the start of an entire game design based off that idea right there. Would be awesome to get working in-game.

Wait, if that’s not possible… then what exactly does the “railgun” CBM do? It claims to basically boost throwing power.

Couldn’t a weapon do the same thing?

I believe it could. The issue would be with the reloading process. Basically you would have to hit the reload button, select an object, and then you would be able to fire. The reload mechanism could also be used as a variable in balancing. ( Higher Item Weight == Higher projectile Damage == Longer Reload )

EDIT:: The railgun CBM checks the item being thrown and if the item is made of either iron or steel, and if it is, (it looks like) it doubles throwing range.

A Gastraphetes would be neat, basically it’s a very big crossbow. Slow to reload (super slow in fact, should be slower than crossbow) and shoot powerful bolt.

Well, there’s already a Gantz-Rustung which is largely the same thing.

I thought I’d love it, but it seems someone programmed it to be a useless piece of crap.

I can’t work out why it’s so awful, either. The dispersion isn’t worse than some other weapons but this particular one never seems to hit the target. Ever.

I wouldn’t like any more weapons, but I WOULD like a system of gun customisation similar to vehicle customisation. I can’t be the only one who wants to create a 4 barreled machinegun, can I?

The Bates Mk. I, twin-barrel, belt-fed, vehicle mounted anti-drone shotgun.
Spy drones reached the scene of industrial espionage and people wanted a way to get rid of them quick and easy. The Bates armament company struck a deal with an anonymous financier and immediately started working on a close range interceptor. No actual vehicle (originally intended to be an anti-drone drone) emerged from the research but an effective weapon quickly went into production.

Some sources claim that an aftermarket modification kit would enable the user to combine the Bates Mk. I and Mk. II into a belt-fed infantry shotgun.
This kit, assembling the Bates Mk. II-BK, was outlawed very quickly and all information regarding it quickly turned hush hush. It contains specialized tools, replacement parts and a conversion manual.
