First thing: thanks!
And second: well, it looks like you are seeing the Quest and the survivors as a job! Think of them as your actual drawings. Kick their asses! (?

I did this for this Illustrated adventure in the DF forums.

Its quick, and ugli-ish

I like it.

But if i would give you a suggestiong it would be to make her hands bigger. But i know hands are like drawing realistic horses so :I

I wrote this a couple months ago. Nearly forgot about it.
As he drifted off to sleep
Old memories began to resurface

From a time past, horrid tales of fright
When he closed his eyes he could see it
His father standing in robes of white

He raised his head to see
Furrowed brow, he asked
"Where have you taken me?"

His father took his hand, looked him in the eye
"A place where nothing is forgotten."
“A place where memories never die.”

His father pointed to the north
A woman dressed in black
Holding a leather whip, she lashed at a helpless man’s back

“Over there, do you see?”
“This was your lover.” He explained
As the poor man wept in agony

“What did she ever do?”
“Do you remember how you always hit her?”
“This is the reason why she left you.”

His father pointed to the east
Sat upon a wooden chair, old and rotten
A drunken man, drinking away his sorrows
"This was your best friend, or have you forgotten?"

“You left the bar, knowing he was intoxicated.”
“He asked for the keys, you felt foolishly obligated.”

His father pointed to the south
"Neglected and flout."
“A little puppy was it once.”
“Your least favorite pet, without a doubt.”

His father pointed to the west
Lay dead his mother, upon the stone
"You were not present at her final farewell.“
His face dashed with remorse, his heart filled with regret
Not a word was spoken, but in his face you could tell
"Your wreckless actions were the fuse to the bomb, the fish to the hook.”
“A poor-hearted woman, one call was all it took.”

His father pointed directly at him
"You are all of these things."
“You pushed them away.”
“You are alone.”

He awoke from his sleep, visibly shaken
Filled with deep pain, unable to function

By sunrise, he had taken his own life
Cut short by the sharp edge of a rusty knife
There was nobody left for him in this waking land
Not a single person. No one in sight
He had no reason left to live
He had no reason left to fight
I usually keep things like this to myself, but oh well. lol

Hey look some boring practice portrait:

That’s Obama, right. Yeah, definitely Obama. Oh, or maybe Mr. Rogers.

Or, uh, Abraham Lincoln.

A guy on the Bear’s Pit forums is getting into portrait territory.
I did the sketch, he did all the color work.

Looks damn good, I’d say.

That’s Riddick(or the guy from it, I think it’s his name though), right? It’s awesome!

This took well over a gorillion hours in paint to create. I also need to lay off the mutagens…

Just a bunch of Slavic faces molded together into… that. The goggles don’t automatically turn a man into Riddick. Who knew?!

Anyway, they guy calls himself anv. He’s a damn wizard.

Well I thought the facial structure was similar too, blegh! wiggles furiously

facial structure was similar too
Vin Diesel (Riddick) doing a scrunchy face. Guess it's similar.

Shit, I need time to draw a thing for here. For now I’ll be in this thread and get notified of all the delicious arts.

so, I had an idea the other day for a story universe.

So, basicly, some students at a mages college (NOT HOGWARTS DAMMIT, WHY IS THAT ALL PEOPLE THINK OF WHEN THEY HERE MAGES SCHOOL!) are attempting to summon a lower level demon to pass a test. it goes wrong and a demon lord breaks out and, being pissed due to being woken up in the middle of a nice nap, casts a spell that will kill all humans in the known world in one week. several of the instructors realize that they cannot undo the spell, as it was cast by what is basicly a god. they fall into a despair until an apprentice suggests simply asking the power of magic itself to fix the problem. seeing no other choice, they break down and agree to it. Magic, being a bitch like usual, turns them all into http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FunnyAnimal. so, everyone is now a literal furry, how does this society respond? how do people treat mages after this? thankful for saving them, or angry for abandoning Humanity as a whole. that will be explained later. thoughts, opinions?

Tell me about it!

My fantasy setting has a college of magic on it (they are the antagonists, sort-of) and guess what was the first response of everyone when I told them?

Huh like in Harry Potter?

It seems not mattering how unfitting it would be in your setting, any mention off an institution that reearches magic will result in people thinking about Hogwarts.

Terry Pratchet had the same problem with his discworld books, despite the fact that he wrote his mage school in as a parody of colleges 10 years before harry potter
Now have a character I drew in a Drawfagfriend thread on /tg/.

How wrong is it that my only thought here was, “damn that’d be a pain to clean”?

Its Quote from Cave Story:

I found a copy of cave story while searching for an essay in my old hdd drive today. I promptly remembered that I never attained the golden ending, cue to me spending almost the whole day doing such thing. Heh such a great game.
