I am not sure of what story you are referring to, but If you mean the fantasy universe I have been worldbuilding, yes he is. He is general Deres Avernar, so he makes a pretty important character too. Also he is the only character whose design I have pinned down (the fact that he wears a mask that conceals his face 24/7 is probably a factor).

Masks make character design easy mode, it’s why I prefer Sci-fi, full helmets mean I don’t need to do a face just yet, and that way you can always pull off a surprising reveal that the character is actually disfigured/a different race/a woman/two midgets in a trenchcoat.

Heh, yeah. For whatever reason the coolest looking Snowsuit skin in the mod had a very conspicuous medical pack on him.

You’ll note that I actually carry all my medical shit in my actual backpack, although that’s a paranoia I’ve picked up from the DayZ Standalone, getting shot damages all the stuff in the clothing that you got hit in, and taking a shot to the backpack is a very rare event.

I tried making pixel art peoples. I need to learn how to pick colors though. (I ‘borrowed’ the color pallet from art from this game called Witchmarsh)

The bandana lady is supposed to be holding a vaguely steam-punkish gun and a knife.

Kinda reminds me of some of the earlier pixel arts for Dungeon of the Endless, of course, now they’ve moved to much bigger sprite sheets so it looks more detailed.
