Everything is over and perfect. How is your survivor integrated into society?

Yesss. Purge the revenant, suffer not the shoggoth to live.

Funny that my latest adventurer has been a blood mage.

My heavily mutated plant man wood probably start up a metalworking business using his 16 in fabrication, or flee into the wilderness in an attempt to escape the fire cultists.

My survivor would just be dropped into hotspots, he’ll cannibalize his way through any terrorist group.

Off topic: I’d just like to say how much I enjoy the fact that the Arcana mod has spawned a new role-play religion, with people taking sides in the aftermath of our imaginary apocalypse.

On Topic: My character would patrol his territory with an savage glee, turning the entire expanse into a no-beings land only discussed in terrified whispers. I imagine it would take a nuclear strike to have any chance of destorying him, and even then he may just decide to hibernate for awhile before beginning his rampage anew. Something like that creature from Jeepers Creepers. I guess my answer to the question is: He wasn’t.

I still can’t help but think about on how my character would react to the restoration of the world… Maybe in some way his peaceful living in the forest caused him to believe in peace, despite on how powerful he is and how his skills in combat are extraordinarily high.

Or maybe some self-isolation in the forest to keep away from his internal hungry desires, as anyone who dares wander near his home will be butchered for his tastes.

High chance of staying alive, so pairing up with them would help say the non mutated survivors pretty much survive indefinitely or at least a bit longer than they would with regular survivors or by themselves.

You’d have to keep in mind that not all mutations are helpfuli n keeping you alive, and a lot of the ones that do accomplish that by making you a better killing machine. I’m sure most of the chimeras would have died off on their own, but they wouldn’t be the only problem I’m sure.[/quote]

Still, i’d rather raid a zombie infested city with a killing machine than your average joe.

Thinking about it, my survivor would have a hard time deciding. On one hand, she’s a murderous cannibal. On the other she’s helped out the old guard, the merchants, and the outpost people and had no problem not killing and eating them. She does have a high kill count of survivors, and quite a lot of them weren’t hostile until the point where she tazered them.

She’d have no real place in the post-cataclysm society, so I suppose she’ll try her best living her life alone and isolated with her item hoard. Fair game if someone tries to kill her, but it’d take a heavily armed group, otherwise they’ll be her next meal for the day.

Science Student would probably be rehabilitated off her mutagen addiction. Being past the Alpha threshold, she likely wouldn’t really fit in anywhere, what with being inherently better. Although the only obvious inhuman feature is her being a phelloderm, so I dunno.

Although given her character she’d likely try and sell off all her guns.

well if I can manage to get a character to survive past like year one… or even season 2. I would have to say they would definitely use their badassery to create a new country all its own. Punishment for most ‘serious’ crimes would be banishment, whether into another stable society or the wilderness depending on the level of the crime… also amount of supplies they get. Laws would be lax, but punishment harsh after 2nd offense. After third you would no longer be considered capable of being beneficial to the society as a whole. They (character) would look forward to rampaging through any country that decided that Apocolantis should not be approached with a live and let live philosophy.

Yes. That is what it would be.

I’m probably mistaken for a tree and cut down, or mistaken for a deer/bear and shot.

If neither of those, I will gladly team up with other tree peoples and we can start some kind of nomad clan of forest thingies. Start some myths maybe.

Ideally I’d rather have my own home outside of big society but still go into town/provide some trade service that allowed me to coexist without having to play the 9-5 wages/taxes game ever again.

I have to think with all the (probably no exaggeration for most survivors who would survive) thousands of items looted and/or crafted at their disposal, they would probably open up a sort-of pawn shop-esque establishment and retire off the gained funds.

This. Running own country will probably be way to much work. Might leave in middle of the night and just become mountain man, doing trading of pelts, furs and everything else.

travelling artifact salesman.

Trying to get deathmobile out of impound and being body shamed over social media. #mutantsmatter #jellyrolls

Clearly the answer is to eat the unmutated. o3o

My survivor will probably be concerned by the possibility of other psycho cannibal elf-a mutants out there. Will go Highlander with there can only be one and all that jazz.
