Year 6? I would like to see the stats of a char that lasted 6 years, I can barely stand playing past late year 1.
Ah, you missed on the whole “What Do You Use Your Debug Menu For” bit. One of my several characters that I tend to since 0.4 or so got introduced to 0.8; but I guess compiling all the Kill Lists together could be impressive.
He went to the dephts of woods to pursue a farming career since the Romero gods were so merciful.
My last character with the broadsword died a glorious death as he single-handedly cut down dozens of zombies before finally succumbed to his numerous fatal wounds. My new character found a morningstar, time for a new medieval-themed zombie-slaying!
Made a character (and debug-granted him a folding bicycle) with the intention of bicycling as far as I could possibly go… It didn’t last too awful long Besides passing one turretless military bunker and being surprised that the next bunker bristled with turrets (even rammed one, was shot multiple times but army helmet and kevlar saved me…), things were going well until he ran over a swift zombie dog upon entering a town…
Evading the dog and getting back onto the bike took a bit too long, and he was surrounded… Had an EMP grenade I had never tested on organics, of course no response… The only other dangerous thing in his inventory was some .45 ammo I picked up. Dropped it a tile to my left amid multiple Z-dogs and zombs and a hunter, and ignited the ammo pile. Wracked with multiple explosions and suffered unavoidable death as a result Makes me wish we could expend extra energy and leap in a direction (in this case said direction would be away from the flaming ammo…) May have saved him!
Looting a town and watching a livestream… of “art” at the same time. accidentally commented about how it’s such a pain to loot in the stream instead of a chat window I had open.
Three people assumed I was looting in Australia or some shit… …and I just kinda went with it. It has made my day.
my last character died, (moose while sleeping) so I made a new character, did my usual, run away from town and throw rocks to make squirrels explode… then Acid Rain. fuuuuuuuu
Almost summer of year 2 (this char has been across a couple of experimental builds) and I am starting to fortify a mansion which with using the debug menu’s map editor connected in to a subway network which my base LMOE shelter is in the middle of in addition to a basement(more a booze cellar :D).
This char is practically invincible sure I got all kinds of good armour lying around but who needs armour when you dodge/block pretty much every attack I debugged in 4 simultaneous Jabberwocks just to see how she performed, she beats all 4 with just fists taking only a scratch to health.

Found a Granade.
Afraid to pull the pin on account of what it might do.
You should be.
It’s like russian roulette, spin the barrel and hope for the best.
NERF’s can kill you if your weakened or leave in position to die very easily even from full health .
BUFFS - is the best effect in game period. It blasts up your stats–randomly–and by a large margin. The trade off is that NERFS does the opposite, and can completely demolish an otherwise viable character.
I saved up all my Granade and went on a spree. When the dust settled I had enough strength to grab and pull full sized vehicles. Really regretting not taking Muay Thai for its “Scales better with strength” perk right about now. Still, I pretty much pulp everything bare handed and woodland animals explode into gore at a stern look.
You should be! More often then not when I’ve pulled the pin on a Granade and dropped it at my feet I ended up wishing it was just a run of the mill grenade. Particularly when it renders an “insanely strong” mutant crushingly over-burdened by the weight of his gear
I decided to try out the experimental build, and rolled a new character. After looting a house or six and finding very little of use, I was a little disappointed. Then I turned a corner and found six dead soldiers with rucksacks, kevlar, and my favourite: a Flamethrower.

I even had a jug of gasoline at the time. :)
Just make sure not to aim it at point-blank range! At least one square between you and the aim point please, no fun setting yourself on fire.
(The Flamethrower creates a 3x3 square of flames centered on the target square–or at least it did the last time I had one–and is IMO the best gun in the game. Congratulations.)
Aha, much appreciated. This is my best character yet, so suicide-by-flamethrower would be a sad way to go. I will treat it with the same care I do molotovs.
