… It’s the magnum of nailguns. ;_;
but holy hell, a .22 cordite charge to drive a nail in? People are actually allowed to use this shit in construction sites?
Yep - you can hire 'em.
Back in the day, when I lived in a (fairly dismal) apartment, it was constructed with concrete slab floors and one of my ceilings came down, so I needed one of these great devices to affix the replacement ceiling joists to the concrete floor above… Good fun!
I’m not sure if this has been posted already, but I think its a good reason to actually carry the thing around.

I originally posted this in Clayton’s Firearms thread but seeing as apparently that project is cancelled…
"Anyone interested in putting in an Aliens style Smartgun? It would need high mechanics/electronics skill to build but would effectively be a gun that aimed for you, giving a massive accuracy increase and basically no recoil since it’s mounted on a servo arm.

the fire rate is 1200 rounds per minute and it holds 600 rounds.
Going by the movie it needs battery power to function. "
Last I knew, the movie prop was an MG42 (!) on a Steadicam harness. So add a film set (filming a horror movie, of course) to have the Steadicam, a CBM Targeting or similar, an M249, some miscellaneous Electronics/Computer ingredients, and you might be able to craft one yourself.
(Perfect for that tech geek with no other firearms experience?)

Yep it was an MG42 with a Steadicam harness and some random bits of Motorbike stuck on it.
Interesting idea about putting the CBM on there… I hadn’t considered that. I like it. I was just thinking of making your own circuits from various bits of electronics.
Maybe mix in a couple of bits of pipe or one of the gun conversion kits because an M249 is a much shorter gun.
Power it with a UPS as well as the bullet requirements.
If the steadycam harness is too much of a pain in the ass, just build one with mechanics skill from metal scrap and other junk.
And yes I was thinking that the turbonerd characters with crappy weapon skills need something of this kind.
Hmph, I thought about some badass weapons supposed to use only with powerarmor and came up with this list:
Impaler gun - huge railgun which shoots railroad spikes or special tungsten ones. Because why not.
IFMG-1 “Thrasher” - minigun. With two rotating barrel-blocks, 6 barrels each. IFMG stands for "Insanely Fast MachineGun"
Gravity Resonator Device - some weird shit from the science labs which, well… how to explain simply enough… makes sort of a gravity curvature in needed point. Of course, everything in that point gets gravi-raped. +1 bioarmor if you remember the game I took it from
MASG “Shitstorm” - automatic shotgun… which uses 7-gauge caliber shot. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. MASG stands for "Mountable Automatic ShotGun"
Tesla Conductor Based Device - become a shocker zombie. Zap 'em off.
Giant novelty dildos the size of a log. Not a useful weapon. Not a usable sex toy. Not even a very good lawn ornament. But you can’t say that it wouldn’t be interesting to wield the massive black mamba and small undead children across the face with it. Dear god I hope no one takes that out of context.
They can posess an effect which affects NPCs - “shocked”. Drastically reduces their fighting capability. Because, well, dude, when someone is hitting your face with the dildo… it’s totally NOT comfortable
perhaps a bash of 100, but 400 movement cost.
The same volume as log perhaps?
Also hit knockback.
Sounds reasonable, but with that lots of bash it should also have very low to-hit?
Cataclysm: DDA forums - serious talks about giant dildos
Also, I just had a thought about that nice .22 cordite charges-powered nailguns.
We can easily feed them with “shots” which are crafted from the .22 ammo and nails.

Pretty confident A Clockwork Orange wasn’t intended as encouragement…
And where should the python be found?
In houses very rarely perhaps?
Might have to create a new building entirely for it.
A temple devoted to it perhaps?
Man, I can’t afford to visit anywhere in Russia, even if US diplomatic relations and Russian anti-gay laws weren’t the way they are now.

The only anti-gay law ever introduced in Russia does not allow gay propaganda to little children, that’s all.
I agree that we need more improvised weapons. Millwall bricks, shivs, flails, bludgeons made from frozen food… You call it, someone made it.
Oh, and bricks as a throwing weapon.
