What weapons would you like to see in the game?

THIS is good too basicaly everything what he created will be nice
maybe even add new book for weapons like that?

Holy cow, that channel has so many useful weapons that could be used in this game…

Puns

The Barretts are big. Too big.
Here’s something a bit smaller. One shot is all you need.

Shotguns are good for emergency defense. Quick is good. So…
This is good.

Fungun.

Do the A.T.F. or N.R.A. or Walmart have publicly-available listings of the recent proportions of firearms in the region.

Normal HK MP7. No, really, why 7 volume? 4.
Sawn-off pump shotgun.
HK UMP .40. Because for now .40 round is pretty useless. And .40 conversion kit.

A flintlock rifle is craftable already, and it looks like it’s autolearned at guns 4. Is there something different you’d like from a musket specifically?

I’d love a rock launcher, enough that I may try to whip something up after the stable hits. I also want to add a blunderbuss style scrap cannon. I really dig the post apocalyptic, crazy homemade contraption style guns. Anyone else have any cool idea for some? I’ve seen a sawblade launcher mentioned too, and I have a great idea for that one…

I always wondered why cutting the barrel down magically turned an 870 pump action shotgun into a single shotgun in the world of CCDA.

Because nobody fixed it for a long time. It doesn’t work that way any more.

As for why it worked like that in the first place, I’m going to go with ‘failure to check what each item ID stood for, coupled with a complete absence of testing’ as an answer.
I always wondered why cutting the barrel down magically turned an 870 pump action shotgun into a single shotgun in the world of CCDA.
It actually turned it into a double-barrel, but it’s still all the same.

Either way, the Remington’s 6-shot capacity in-game would make it a pretty decent sawed-off from its normal size*. The Mossberg 500 shown in-game would be less practical for its capacity to saw down.

Pump-action or semi-automatic shotguns usually have a tube magazine attached to the underside of the barrel which limits the minimum barrel length to slightly longer than the length of the magazine tube, when only the barrel is modified. Although the magazine can be shortened, with a corresponding loss in magazine capacity, such a modification tends to be considerably more technically complex, involving cutting and welding or silver soldering at a bare minimum and often large diameter square threading.

*Assuming “normal size” is a 5-shell tube magazine and a 28-inch field barrel (I own a Mossberg in the exact same configuration IRL)

I knew it was something like that. It’s been a while since I wasted a perfectly good Hulk swatter to not paying attention.
I would love to see a sawn off pump action shotgun similar to the Saiga. Volume reduction at a loss of range. I would carry a sawn off 870 until the bitter end.

Here’s a semi-futuristic SMG kit with some neat features.

Tiny rifle. Die, varmint, die!

Zombie squirrel on a stick.

The knife spear. What happened to it?

Also, bear claws. Yesss. Ok no.

I would want the ‘Contender’ single-shot pistol from Fate/Zero using bullets that you ground up from the bones of your victims. Did any else think of ceramic coffee mugs as repurposed fist weapons?

Umm A knife or some kind of bladed boomerang that either comes back to when targeting one enemy or has a chance to chain hit other targets like chain lightning.

A Spikey Rake trap. When you step on the business end of a rake be sure to hope your face isn’t covered in pointy bits of scrap metal.

Improvised warhammer: a massive cement block with a hole opening in the middle and a metal pipe superglued into it. Does a ton of damage with (Splash) but the massive strength required to wield it takes away any ability to block, survivor becomes tired faster, and dexterity is lowered.

Typically a cement block is not strong enough to make contact several times. Also, historically speaking, a war hammer was not as large as depicted in video games. What you’re thinking of is a War Maul. A war hammer has a long thin metal handle with a balanced head with a blunt face and the opposite side a pick. The entire weapon was one welded piece of steel save leather for wrapping the handle.
