What weapons would you like to see in the game?

A quarter staff. I’m reading Robin Hood and I AM A YEOMAN.

A heavy stick does not cut it.

Fix’d.

“Sword-chucks, yo!” Hope somebody remembers this one.

Also, on the M2 machine-gun thing, the Shadowrun Gyro-mount harness may be an idea we could consider adding for people who want to wield guns they really shouldn’t be able to. Coding it would be difficult, however, as Gyro-mounts are supposed to significantly impair movement. For anyone who doesn’t know what this is:

Gyro-Mount
These systems consist of a heavy upper-body harness with an attached, articulated, gyro-stabilized arm that mounts a rifle or heavy weapon. The gyro-stabilization system neutralizes recoil and movement modifiers up to its rating (standard Rating 5, deluxe Rating 6). Standard military systems also include smart goggles with a protected cable connection. Mounted smartguns may still be fed through standard palm induction links. When worn, the entire system provides an additional point of impact and ballistic armor, and is not concealable. Gyro systems add +4 to the wearer’s target numbers in melee combat, and only allow him to use half his Combat Pool dice. It takes 5 minutes to get into a gyro-mount harness and one Complex Action to “quick-release” out of it. Attaching or removing a weapon from the mount requires two Complex Actions.

.25 beretta
Walther ppk

Because James Bond guys

Are there m9s yet?

Actually, a sound resonator. We have a bionic one, why there’s still no handheld version?

Looked at Nuklear Power » 8-Bit Theater, THAT IS NOT 8 BIT! I DEMAND A REFUND!

Hrm, a wearable dohickey, possibly a power armor mount, although with the really bug guns I kind of wonder if even that would keep you stable, or if it’d start shoving you around…

I just remember going to extremes in Fallout: Tactics just to get ammo for the M2 Browning and to use it (In armor, and sometimes with the “Mutie” chem) …Because a bigass HMG is amusing to me.

Dunno if it’s been said, but an entrenching tool.

Think: shovel + axe + collapsible/portable.

From wikipedia: Entrenching tools, if strongly built, can also be used as weapons. Some entrenching tools can be even sharpened on one or both sides of the blade to be used as cutting tools or weapons; in fact, when used as such, the tool’s sharp, thick edges are strong enough to cut through flesh and bone. During the Second World War, entrenchment spades were used in close quarters combat between German and Soviet forces. Soviet Spetsnaz units were well trained in the use of the standard short-handled Russian entrenching shovel (“saperka”) as a weapon; by the nature of their missions, such tools were only rarely used for digging or entrenching positions.[8] Modern commando forces, too, are trained to fight with entrenchment tools.

Just seems handy.

Oh geeze why didn’t I think of entrenching tools before?

PR’ed!

NaturesWitness thought of one a long time ago. Couldn’t get it to work with the construction menu. :-/

I’m surprised this hasn’t seemed to be mentioned yet: the M240, the US military puts them on everything and they’re used for support to larger infantry units

I think the main holdup with the M240 is that its belt-fed, that’s fine if mounted on a vehicle, but we don’t have a way to handle that with a freestanding gun. Probably want to set it up as a “pseudo trap” that you place and drop ammo on.

I’m personally kinda miffed at the lack of decent lever-action firearms (save for the weak Marlin and the oddball Browning BLR). Something along the lines of a Winchester rifle in .44 Magnum would be kinda neat to see, as well as some more historical firearms as well (i.e. M1 Garand, Thompson submachine-gun, Walther P38, etc.).

Also…
M2 machine-gun thing
Yes. Just yes. This would be absolutely badass. However, when you consider the machine-gun’s weight of 80-some-odd pounds by itself, it just might definitely should require the use of a suit of power armor and some sort of weapon mounting frame to be able to wield and fire. And the recoil on continuous fire could potentially also be enough to either push you back a fair distance, or outright knock you on your ass.

You can attach the belt-bag to the M249, it looks like?

Wiki, but FA, so I hope the photos are accurate?

Now, a .50 BMG, that’s a bit much to fire unassisted.

Do was have a suggestion for an acid-sprayer? To my knowledge the only current delivery systems for “Concentrated Acid” are a molotov-style weapon, and a 40mm Grenade, why not a sprayer, something akin to the flamethrower.

maceballbat. you hammer nails into a baseball bat. I think we have stuff like this, i just like the name. There is a TV show on National Geographic called ‘doomsday preppers’. They had a teenager on it who was prepping for the end of the world. He made a maceballbat. I thought it was a rather creative name. his mom laughed at him. then at the end he told her if the end of the world came he would kick her to the curb.

lets honor this young man by adding a weapon based on his brilliant idea. go youth.

You mean a nailbat? They have been in the game since forever.

Actually…
Lead pipes - or, simply, buffed pipes. Fast weapon IRL, and VERY deadly in right hands. I broke at least five arms with this thing. Also, longer pipes would be also acceptable
Muffler on a pipe - Yup. Muffler on a pipe. Long and fucking dangerous. Silence your foes.
Pickaxe - Totally not bad vs. armored enemies and also capable of breaking thru walls. It will take lots of time though. Well, that’s just a pickaxe, not a jacqueshammer.
Mallet - hammer-sized sledgehammer. Much faster than a sledgehammer and good for throwing if you’re strong enough.
Circular saw - circular saw. Used to cut wood or your enemies. Battery-powered. Disassemble to get an electric motor, some circuitry and a sawblade.
Sawaxe - Sawblade on a stick. Actually, an axe with DAAAAAMN high cut damage.
Short sawaxe - throwable version.
Buzzaxe - Sawblade on a pipe with electric motor attached. Activate and have fun. Somehow very effective if thrown.
“Lyuber” - Russian invention: flail made with sawblade as a striking part. Guess what, блядь, it can kill you if you hit yourself accidentally.
“Guts’n’Glory” - glove with a sawblade attached. Hit’n’tear just like the bear.
“Gauntlet” - “Guts’n’Glory” with an electric motor attached. Whirly death on your fist, call 666-999-666 to order one today and receive some unwanted attention from FBI and CIA for free!

I keep thinking caltrops, which would basically be a lightweight throwable spike trap… Are shuriken in yet? Any bow modification attachments? Still been wanting firework stands plus fireworks and functional disassembly of said fireworks

Some interesting Wikipedia weapon links

Sorry in advance for any suggestions that have already been suggested, or even implemented  We’re piling em high!
