I think that if you’re in pain, you should be able to drop the paper or something and have it promptly slice through any body part, decapitating it in the process. If it happens to hit your torso or head, then you should probably pass when it asks you to watch your last moments. Unless you wanna see your head roll around the floor, or be used as a football in whatever the zombie equivalent of football is.

If you are on a stairway and use an invalid > or < command, something should happen. Suggestions:
You turn inside-out, fatality optional…
You beat your head against the floor repeatedly while moaning about how unfair life is.
You get confused, fail to up/down correctly, and end up flying instead.
You get transported to DoomRL with the message “you think that going down was a bad idea”.
“You enter a maze of twisting passages, all alike.” and the level is regenerated with a new seed.
You are pulled into the ceiling by a hanging tongue and eaten by a tube-worm.
You get high.

the extra tedium should only be temporary. Once it gets fixed properly it should be painless, and add alot more to the game.

There is a mod to remove the clips for now.
Most of the tedium of clips right now comes from interface issues, but those will be addressed.

I have a custom built water cooler and an oversized pump with tubes going under the floor all the way to the freezer. I’m using 4 prototype CPUs on a high-end motherboard that comes out in 2018.
