We make bad suggestions and come up with horrible ideas
Add more potential for enemies lingering at 0 HP.

“Omae wa mou shindeiru.”
tankbot fires off a last few rounds then self destruct

Maybe. Or fallen bandits desparately fumbling for their sidearm to try and get one last shot at you. Or half-dismembered zombies clawing towards you, automatically reviving as crawler zombies.

Make the death explosion brought upon that style a real death explosion like in the anime. Big splash of blood and gore, and nothing left. No loot.

So basically a hit with a MASSIVE damage multiplier? Enough damage from the killing blow splatters a target, leaving no corpse or loot.

EDIT: Also idea, add a mod that changes the game recipes so that any fancy modern technology can no longer be autolearned, so you can play a primitive barbarian character that has no understanding of modern tech unless they can read.

speakiang of that, need to make illiterate less crippling, like make classes that already know recipies based off of their learning and such… like proffesion craft tiers, like doctor, military, scientist, mutagen scientist, mutagen drug dealer. and the likes, cause a drug dealer SURLY Can make science grade mutagens, just add meth

Kinda like a medivalist which has all medivalrecipies but cant learn anything new

They have that, it’s called NPCs. They can read to you, so static NPCs means basically 5 free points.

Actually if you do enough damage that’s exactly what happens. Try taking out a squirrel with a very high-powered shotgun, there won’t be anything left of it but smears on the ground.

bad Idea
anyone remember the crazy weapon thread? I still like my “gun of the sun” Idea
link a portal on a satellite orbiting the sun to a matching one in the barrel of the gun, pulling trigger activates gun portal.
creates a cone of magma and/or raging inferno and/or radiation that goes to the edge of the reality bubble

Left-handedness. Hinders certain things like using scissors (reduced butchering quality) or certain firearms (bolt-actions slower to cycle, non-ambidextrous bullpups can’t use precise aim).

Also gives a to-hit bonus in melee versus NPCs, to your mutual disadvantage if the NPC is also a lefty. o3o

Eyepatches, peg-legs, and hook hands.

Also pet parrots

A new negative trait, “Talks Like A Pirate”, which gives a severe penalty to speaking because no NPC will be able to take you seriously.

Inventory is over weight limit. Going up and down stairs has chance to slip and fall.

What next, stat training and loss from different activities? o3o

Yes I want to kick all of the doors and become beefy.

(puts rock on “run” key while facing wall)
2 hours later…
MARATHON MAN!

basically how TES:Oblivion worked.

That is how you get nibbled to death by newts. :V
Not sure if it’s a good or bad thing that I’m bad at coming up with deliberately terrible ideas…

  • Leave rotten milk alone long enough, and it turns into yoghurt. Then cheese.
not a bad,
or +temperature (near fire) = curdled sour milk, or clabber - usual food, not poisonous.
maybe, for about one day (before sleep) we have trait “diarea” (why no? we are vomit, and in the game it’s normal - why not a… “vomit” from ass?)

Add a bionics profession that comes with a few decent active bionics and a good power reserve…but no power supply bionics.

EDIT: And on a related note, something with even more extreme modifications than a Bionic Monster, more geared towards being a smashy, unsubtle thing. Like, maybe…

The negative trait mute. Much like how computers skill are to illiterate characters, speaking won’t go up. You have to rely on gestures to get your point across on NPCs, which isn’t as effective in communicating and giving commands to NPCs. You start of with a notebook of phrases to communicate better, which kinda helps with talking to NPCs a bit better, plus you can craft it if your notebook gets lost. However, at night when it’s too dark, using the notebook or gestures is even less effective due to how hard it is to see. And if you’re an illiterate character, you don’t get a notebook of phrases for communication.

Gumball machines. Cheap vending machines. If you break them, slower cameras are summoned. If they photograph you, they summon baby copbots that don’t do as much damage to be more child-friendly.

Zombie conga lines. Or shudders the zombie human centipede. orzorzorz - that’s a human centipede.

A line of Zs, basically. If you try to break the line in the middle, the rest turn into hulks.

Zombie werewolves. During the full moon the zombies turn into strange and angry animal-like creatures. At the same time some zombie animals turn into slightly confused zombie peoples.
