YOU READ THAT COMIC YESSSS. I must admit, I’m eager to see any representations of the other cast members if you make 'em.
Seconded! Another SSSS fan here
Also I did this with some friends last weekend and forgot to post about it:
It’s a puzzle game about weaponized nanobots spontaneously gaining sentience and trying to climb a stream of bullets back to the gun that fired them. Also it was written in under three days, which I find moderately unbelievable, and I was there.
This is a really simple edit of the Chaingunner, from Doom 2. Added a weird head, that’s all, but the interesting feature is the new death animation, instead of using the normal one.
Maybe you like it?
Smaller here.
Thanks! Now that you mention it, I also drew Emil holding a flamethrower some weeks ago:
(Hold a flamethrower like that is not the most sensible of ideas)
Mhh, nice color palette there, and I love the zig-zagging lines on the clothing there. Also I like how the light from the the flamethrower is bouncing off the clothing.
I wanted to draw creepy dudes, so I drew a rather loose interpretation of a Mayan death god:
Get back on that fucking altar right this instant.
I too was tempted to caption it. I love it either way!
spoopy
also, first time on this thread; do we just post creative-stuff-we-do here?
edit: nvm, took the time to read first post, and I’ve got just the thing!
So, I’ve posted about this on the Cata Draw Thread before I knew about this one, So now this place has a legitimate home!
Here’s the story:
4 people: Nepovinoveniye, Istseleniye, Zashchita, and Bezumiye. In English? Defiance, Healing, Protection, and Insanity. (Their names are English pronunciations of Russian)
They’ve been imagined from ridiculous amounts of repeated listenings of the only playlist of songs I’ve been listening to for the last month. (Mostly Rise Against and All That Remains, recently added some Celldweller to add to Insanity’s story.)
They’re set in a city that is either in Pre/Mid/Post- Civil War within a city where the people have had enough of the rich government.
This is the first story related picture I’ve currently been working on (It’s not finished, and I’ve already put 3 hours into it):
Defiance and Healing are Post-Civil War, but some government soldiers still linger and are taking out their frustration on the race of Kobold-like creatures that are usually peaceful.
Protection is one of these creatures, and is currently lying on the ground, bleeding out after his small family and community in the alleys of the city have been shot up by the remaining soldiers.
Criticisms pls.
edit: it feels like when I post something, it takes a day and a half for someone to reply to the thread afterwards.
My really tired self can only say that this is really looking interesting, but sadly can’t think if much, being so tired. Keep going with that!
Literally the only draw I’ve been able to muster up as of late. But hey, it’s more than nothing!
It’s so cute, I want to eat it up.
Made a hud face, for Doom, completely working and all.
Inspired by this drawing i made in my class.

ooki spooki 2 4 me
I finished the drawing, finally!
Korolevskiy= Royal (The group the rebellion fought in the civil war)
Vosstaniye= Rebellion (All 4 characters are part of this group, but Insanity is much later post-war)
Nemnogo= Little (The race of creatures that Protection belongs to)
Took me a total 8-ish hours, with constant Ctrl-Z-ing and Erasing and Layer Making.
I like the style I swapped to in the last frame, made things much easier to draw.
I made this too like a couple days ago:
You may have noticed them in my sig, 4 more to the roster!
Oh god they are so cute d:
This happens every damn time I get my ADD med prescription refilled. Every. Damn. Time.
I need to invest some more time in training up good work habits for drawing. Nobody told me my attention deficit was actually a motivation deficit.
Assuming I can keep the ball rolling, I might attempt a Quarian re-design, because Tali’s shitty photoshop face reveal feels about as good as getting Rickroll’d.
A knight of the white sun, again.
Changed a bit of stuff with the robe and sash. Also ditched the leather armguards, they look more like bedouins without 'em (which was sorta the original point).
I swear that they look eviler by the drawing. At this rate the next one I draw will have menacing spikes all over his/her armor.
After doing some regular file clearing while digging through my old stuff I found a trio of maps I made a long while back for a fictional nation building website. Given this is among the only artistic things I’ve ever made, just thought I’d share.
Candlebury, please teach me the magic you use in designing outfits for your characters. My skillset favours anatomy and the face, not the clothing styles. Do you have any tips apart from utilizing references? Or do I need to stop being a fuckin’ lazy arse and google clothing? XD
HINT: I DO NOT WANT TO GOOGLE THE CLOTHINGS. I CAN BARELY DRESS MYSELF WITHOUT PISSING OFF GENDER NORMS.
Well I don’t really do much.
I start from the setting and then move into searching references for the actual clothes. In the case of Ann I played most of my characters with the scoundrel profession, hence hoodie +cargo pants. For Avenar (the purple guy) the most recent version is a tattered version of this clothes, with some draksouls pyromancer.
For these knights I started from the fact that my fantasy world has the climate of Africa, so I based my design around that. I started with the NPC assassins of the first Assassin’s Creed as a base, but gave them the keffiyeh and the short breastplate for the sake of making them different. The keffiyeh and sash are orange because desert sunsets color everything orange, and they are sun worshipping knights so it fits.
Then I redrew them a lot, changing little bits of the design until I leave only the stuff that I like.
So basically, use google, yeah.
