The General I did This Creative Thing Thread (TGIdTCTT)

Somehow I claimed I couldn’t draw so hard I made myself forget I CAN draw… just not people cuz people are hard. Found old art sketchbook I did in high school. Dam not major leagues but Im pretty impressed with myself right now considering just a sec ago thought I could only do stick figures and still be understandable. Low expectations make everything spectacular.

Refuses to go right side up >.<

This kind of views of those creatures are always scary, imagine falling into it’s giant mouth. Oh no thanks I pass.

Btw, wow, awesome drawing, man! Seriously.

It was too big to fit in the scanner :frowning: bunch of little details around the edges and stuff. Earth in a tentacle with an eye on it, some crab in the corner, lopped off tentacle with new one regrowing, and words names hidden in the tentacles. ^.^ feel like guilty spark right now. Dam I am so narcissistic right now. Quick! someone throw some insults at me Ego inflating to dangerous per portions!

Pardon me coming through. Excuse me. Pardon me.

<me

Sad thing is all you guy’s stuff is WAY better. And I still get all high and mighty about mine XD

I can’t draw at all. I should start making that known, maybe it will force me to unlock some forgotten talent too. :stuck_out_tongue:

I mean, uh, you suck. Yeah. Like a giant tentacle embracing the earth.

Yeah, quintopus (?) looks nifty.

sextopus I think would be the correct term (as in 6 tentacles) since It has 6 but one is chopped off and regrowing. Thanks Ill try drawing more sometime maybe Ill find something else I am actually capable of drawing.

More Dark Cobaltbleu stuff, a quick Cloe redesign, sorta, its just the base idea for her clothes, I swear i’ll have better stuff soon.

Her somewhat western look doesn’t mesh well with the setting; the only kingdom which issues firearms extensively is located in an archipelago and is by necessity seafaring. The majority of other places still use crossbows, mostly because the only know saltpetre mines are found in Orodello.
Aka what Cloe used to be before she went into exile, and got stuck in Thioldel
Missed the sixth tentacle then.

Uh, John, Cloe’s scarf looks a bit tight there, but that might be causing the eyes and expression. :-/

Haha infact. That ain’t Cloe however, but its not like you had any way of knowing

She is so cute! Hahah, really.

agh poor girl looks so unsure of herself.

Lalli from Stand Still Stay Silent, because I can’t draw the same five characters all the time.

Not familiar with that, but looks like Lalli’s well-suited to the objective? :-/

I think it would be a hextapus, but really it would still be still called an octopus

Ah thanks, that sounds MUCH better.

A knight of the white sun.

The keffiyeh denotes a high ranking knight, partly because its enchanted to be very effective armor, but mostly because making said enchantment is worth more than the treasury of most small kingdoms.

neat.

White Sun isn’t good for its high-ranking knights, judging by the squint. But that’d be realistic and IMO it’s good work there.

Another nifty arting by John Candlebury.

Well I got this piece that’s wip.

It’s mostly done, but it needs a bit more touch-up on the details and clean-up.

YOU READ THAT COMIC YESSSS. I must admit, I’m eager to see any representations of the other cast members if you make 'em.

hexapedal octopus. six legged eight-legger?? BEST OF BOTH. I like words too dang much.

Wetfire: looks sharp! Would be interesting to see some soft fuzzy textures to contrast the bold brushstrokes you got, to create some extra atmosphere. Not familiar with your art style yet, though I like where this is going!
