I’ve got a design question. I noticed that some of the Rivtech guns are silver and black while others are green. They all seem to be made of super alloy and ceramics and are represented by dark grey ASCII. So, what color should they be? I like the look of the silver/black weapons, but the green makes them easily recognizable.

Maybe go black and silver for Rivertech, and green for Leadworks (there’s probably none of those in a tileset).

“Rivertech”??

Rivet’s rendered most of her stuff in black/grey, when she does it in color, and IIRC Rivtech is primarily a defense contractor so their stuff would be matte black or camouflaged or something (you’d have to ask Rivet to be sure, though).

Leadworks goes more for the consumer/law-enforcement markets, and the L1820 Long Ranger (it looks like a Winchester carbine, with the stock that drops below the line of the barrel) is probably synthetic wood-grain-look stock. The Enforcer and Lookout probably have the same synth-handle, but the Backup does not as it’s a heavy milspec beast of a firearm.

And the L39 types are based on the Alpha-9 from Robocop (as the L39B was written for the Cybercop profession) and/or stuff like the Ares Predator from Shadowrun.

I was hoping you could give me a list of programs you use to make this amazeing tile set.

I would like to start adding some tiles to this tile set that are missing mainly for learning purposes if your interested I could link them to you if your interested as well?

Hi, I’m using Paint.net, Gimp and CataTilesetStudio. Photoshop is also a great programm.
