Ha, I didn’t realize you changed it that much. Guess I should have looked closely. (I really like the new in-game zoom-in feature.)
I’ve only worked on my overlay project since the last batch of sprites. So, I have nothing for you today.

Ah, no worries. Still been waiting on the latest tileset PR to be merged. I think I have nearly a dozen PRs in the works by now. @_@
More missing sprites:
I think MShock made the fish that my breaded fish is based on. The raw fish fillet and smoked fish fillet are an attempt to find a happy medium between MShock’s fish, Coleen’s bag-o-fish, and the basic chunk of meat. You’ll probably need to change the “fg” numbers in this code.

Ah, nice. Will have to implement in the next PR. DF eating my time again.
Hey Random_Dragon, I’ve been messing about in the latest experimental versions again lately, and I’ve found a couple of missing sprites within your MShockModded tileset. I can’t remember exactly what they were, but I know one of them was an engine of some sort. There was also another item, which I think spawned in the basement of the starting shelter. It may have been some piece of clothing, but I’ll have to wait and see if I can encounter it again.
Sorry I can’t be more specific than that but, as I said, I’ll keep my eyes open…
Ack. I know, I still need to complete The Spritening. x.x
As I’ve said elsewhere, been distracted and burnt out lately.
No pressure man. Just letting you know in case you weren’t aware…
Edit - Not to worry anyway. The latest experimental version as of today (12 December) keeps on giving me a hard crash on world creation…
I’ve got more sprites. Mostly these are replacements. The little graphical error in the edge fence was annoying me. It would have been easy to fix the existing fence, but it was made by Waldo. So, I made all new fencing that rotates better anyway. The pulley is to replace the super lo-rez pulley. I’m not happy with the level of perspective craziness here, but I can’t see a way around it. Lastly, I made cake. I never knew there was cake in the game!
These two sprites ought to cover the 3 cakes I found in the .json’s. I am completely clueless about the meaning behind the flavor texts, but after playing Portal there is a special place in my heart for videogame cake so I had to draw them up right away.
I drew them as whole cakes because in one description you can read the writing on the top. They take up 3 volume which seems less than a whole cake, but too large for a slice. Maybe a whole cake only fills 3 volume after you stuff it in your cargo pants’ pocket.

Ack. I really should start up another tileset update, yeah. @_@
EDIT: Simple PR for Egomassive’s spritework for now. https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/pull/14425
As I’ve said before, the work you guys are doing is amazing!
Take your time - there can’t be that many (missing) sprites left to do, can there?
You’d be surprised. Did at least get Egomassive’s additions added swiftly. @_@

Thanks for the encouragement. I have a list of 41 and I haven’t written down every missing sprite I’ve seen. Then there’s my side project of creating overlays so you can see what your character is wearing/wielding. There are probably hundreds of sprites to make for that. Then there’s my mission to eradicate Waldo’s work from the tileset; not because I want to, but because he wishes it. Finally there’s upgrading the lo-rez artwork MShock included to fill in the holes long ago. For me it’s almost more jarring than ASCII.
I like this arrangement of supplying Random_dragon with whatever I feel like drawing, because I would be quickly overwhelmed if I obligated myself to keep a tileset up-to-date. On the flipside, he (or she?) can reject any spritework (s)he doesn’t care for. Like my yellow radio I was so proud of, that MShock completely ignored. )`:
Eh, maybe it wasn’t that good after all.
Hmm. Personally I only approve of replacing Waldo’s work in instances where I regard the replacement to be superior. Though given the competence of your spritework, I end up going along with it a lot, it seems. XP
That I’m still not yet sure about replacing the player/NPC sprites at the moment.
‘so you can see what your character is wearing/wielding’
OMG!!! That is what Chezzo’s epic tileset does, and it would be TOTALLY AWESOME if MShock Modded started doing the same thing.
Woot woot! I’m glad to be along for the ride…
That would be interesting, though more complexity to work on. Glad that Egomassive has been toying around with it though. ^^
Hi, just a quick note while I was in-game. I have just found the engine that I mentioned before. It’s the 0.58-Liter 1-cylinder engine.
I’ll edit this with any more I find…
Ah, so 1-cylinder engines. o.o
Hope I’m not being a nuisance. I just want to help you guys out…
It’s fine. ^^"
Not sure if this is the right thread to post this but… (is there no Mshock thread?)
Can’t edit tilesets successfully. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Wanted less distracting floor trunk, to make it blend in. Resorted to image manipulation just to see what it’d look like. It’s just simple copypasting of the aisle tile over the trunk, leaving the trunk’s original edges untouched. Feel free to use the image in anyway you please, maybe even include the dark floor trunk in the next update… Or do your own version of a dark floor trunk.
A more skilled artist might even be able to make it look like the lid of the trunk isn’t protruding upwards, but instead it’s on level with the floor plane.
Edit:
