Draw Your Cataclysms

I tried to draw a fungaloid right quick. Like seriously is this what they look like?

Me playing CDDA the first time walking through a dark forest in the middle of the night armed with a mighty sword … made of a stick.

Suddenly I stumbled into some nice little friend:

PS:
I can’t draw but I can model ^^

No. I really wish I could find the one that was drawn already. It’s on the forum SOMEWHERE. :frowning:

Hah, found it.

It doesn’t matter how good you are, we want to see it.

Here is my art to kick the thread off:

Although, Senrain, that’s pretty bloody awesome too.

I also sort of imagine them having like 4 raised tendrils curved around the top of the fungal mass that can sort of lash out to strike at enemies.

Found another on DeviantArt.

This is honestly how I pictured them in my head.

I suspect most of these are fairly valid interpretations.

I’m beginning to think that the NPCs need some fixing.

Haha, I guess we can say anyone who draws what a Fungaloid looks like is correct because ASCII is like a novel. We must interpret them ourselves…
Although, now I think of it, the descriptions of enemies could be better… Though I’ve only read the descriptions of a few things, so I’ve probably missed a lot…

Yeah, there actually is quite a bit of description for fungaloids (doubly so if you include the spore infection effects, that supposedly make you turn into a funglaoid creature).

Oh man, mouse art is the best! I don’t know what you mean at all!

Look at that masterpiece, done with nothing more than the mouse! The key, I think, is to make use of things like zooming and vectors and stuff. Or get a wacom. I really want a wacom.

Also, I should contribute to this thread… I know! I’ll take a request! Anyone want me to draw anything?[/quote]

Since you seem to have some fish-folk talent: Fish-mutated player-character. Tail Fin, Webbed hands/feet, Gills, and the Nicitating (sp?) Membranes. Because there’s a distinct lack of ogleable men around, I’ll specify a Male character, and the Sleek Scales/Fangs/Slimy/Very Smelly/Deformed are optional.

(I was thinking Angler Stalk would be a nifty mutation once there was a menu: turn it on for reading/crafting light but attract critters.)

Does a Jabberwock look something like a pseudogiant from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.? I could imagine that being able to stop a vehicle. (Though in that game they didn’t see vehicles, nothing did.)

They had some vehicles in the STALKER universe. Ever watched the intro to Shadow of Chernobyl ;D

Sort of similar. From the description about the multiple faces this is very similar to what it looks like in my mind:

I mean if you used vehicles, they didn’t care they were there. They didn’t go around them, just tried pushing them.

Despite the description I just CAN’T see the Jabberwock as anything but Lewis Carrol’s Jabberwocky.
