YES HAHAHAH TACTICAL TOILET.

NPC adventures! Yay![/quote]
Hahahahaha
Very nice
And also, the Turret was quite funny too.
Phta should draw a cdda web comic, the possibilities are limitless and it could get the game some publicity. Just saying
Ask me again when I am not doing something arty for the kickstarter and have had a decent two day’s sleep. Sorry if I was blunt in chat about it. Regular-update type things are something I don’t trust myself with and I am literally running on fumes.
In both the ‘fuel tank is empty’ sense of the word, and the ‘who the hell decided to get their roof tarred today’ sense.
I will most certainly draw things for here again, maybe just not in a full-on dedicated webcomic sense.
I actually had this happen to me the other day. I walked into a bathroom while house-shopping and had safe mode alert me because there was a hostile turret. Granted, it was a military base visible through the window but my first thought (and vocalization, much to my sister’s amusement) was “why the heck is there a turret in the BATHROOM?”
(also ps: fastest way to kill anybody’s want to art is to demand art. good things come to those who wait c:)
As someone, who had a bad art teacher in primary school, I can confirm that.
As an arse who draws, I can likewise confirm that. Leave humourous ideas out in the open for anyone to draw, sort of a no-pressure storytelling - that’s more likely to get me to go ‘oh I have an idea for this one’. This stems from my being a non-professional with no pro training in how to art. My work ethic is wrong. But this isn’t my job either so ehh.
I actually DO want to draw something, I’m just having a hell of a time finding unoccupied time.
Chuck an idea up here anyway, I’ll be able to find it later. It’ll go here ifwhen it happens.
This weeks stick figures adventures presents: Jabberwocky Funtime Adventures Hoy!
EDIT: I just noticed my NPCs die.
A lot.
Pretty much the same experience I had with a jabberwocky. Except, well, I didn’t make it. They’re tough little baskets and I only had a bat.
The timing and layout of the first line especially is golden. A+
Had this for a week, too busy enjoying sumemr to post it. I know i got the colors wrong.
In an attempt to understand those of you who cannot draw stick men, I used my mouse for almost all of this. I think it took me a good 20 minutes of just erasing lines.
I have a new appreciation for how fucking exasperating mouse art is. You guys can totally draw if you have patience for horrible masochistic computer mouse art. HOW DO ANY OF YOU EVEN??
At least I learned that Bears are still deadly, no matter how mouse-drawn they are.
Haha, I might just draw in Maths now and post it up here with a camera of something.
Cause, all mine were drawn with mouse, and I suck at that, I actually am okay on paper with a pencil…
Damn, where are my coloring pencils???
There must be a guy somewhere in the world, who exclusively draws with a software designed to create graphs.
Okay that has to be like the most legit reason for ‘cant draw’ I’ve heard, since it would inhibit practice. Sorry if I touched a nerve there.
Is your other hand fine? Because I’ve heard of people, who have learned to use their left hand and said it’s better. Just asking.
Oh man, mouse art is the best! I don’t know what you mean at all!
Look at that masterpiece, done with nothing more than the mouse! The key, I think, is to make use of things like zooming and vectors and stuff. Or get a wacom. I really want a wacom.
Also, I should contribute to this thread… I know! I’ll take a request! Anyone want me to draw anything?
I think the only appropriate request is various Cataclysm monsters so that we can see how you imagine them.
