How about a CBM that creates heat vision? Active cars and living things are red or orange, zombies are a lighter shade of blue (friction, movement etc. would cause heat.)

Cool lets add it… oh wait already in.

CBM - Afterburner: Some nut designed this to extend stabilized afterburners in the back of your shoulders. When activated, boosts you suddenly at massive speed in a specific direction. Landing not guaranteed.

Details: Think like getting punched by a hulk, mixed with Jump. You will smash through (or into) all obstructions in your path (aimed like you would shoot). Landing and crashing hurts like normal, reduced by armor. Gyroscopic Stabilizer CBM should make this substantially less dangerous (but still dangerous).

On topic: Why not make it possible to install 2 two monomolecular blades (or another CBM called dual monoblades that just has double the stats), so you can have dual wielded arm-swords.

CBM: Fusion Blaster Leg- Liek blaster arm except for it only requires you to wear one shoe and is less accurate… and gives one foot encumberence 5

CBM: derelict Absorption System- An upgraded version of capacitence where you will absorb exterior electricity till your power reserves are full where electricity then affects you normally.

CBM: Lightning Rod- causes lightning to strike you during a lightning storm/ thunder, and charges your power by 1000 cause its lightning.

CBM: Waffle Iron- well, this kinda explains itself. and acts like fusion blaster arm where you only have one hand… but can hit them with the waffle iron as well.

CBM: Bullet Time- Basically its an emergency cbm when you suddenly com upon fire where you have the option of “leaning” in different directions during the duration in mini turns basically dodging bullets based on player knowledge of bullet paths. is active for 3 turns… requires 200 power to activate.

CBM: life support system- when your head or torso get reduced to 0 hp it will activate keeping you alive for X amount of turns based on 1 eu/ 5 turns, with a 50 % chance of healing your broken head or torso 1 hp ever turn.

CBM: Boiler- acts as a pot, boils water, if you have internal furnace you can have boiler create power with water and fuel, and perhaphs an option to spew boiling water onto fire and zombees alike.

I see what you did there.

A cbm that supresses the blob in you. If you mutate you ll get a cue as to whats going to happen and you can like activate the cbm to stop it.

Altough leading Jim Carrey’s “The Mask” character throughout the devastated New England scenery seems neat, we need solutions that coincide with skills and utilize abilities as well as rebound off that curious mutation system we have, only to create some sort of in-game balance.

So a 30-ft Fireball spell through absorbing solar energy isn’t a clue; a CBM that acts like a 3D printer variant when it comes to plastic might be useful and perhaps addictive to the whole Cataclysm_DDA flavor.

Eat plastic bags, spray hot plastic all over the place? I can dig it.

Seal off windows and doors, repair plastic objects, and preform a special blinding attack at moderate distances? I dig it.

I get the LuLz, but really - think 3D printer and Fabrication skill. It could speed up a lot of takes on crafting.

Too much bulk om the body, for too little gain, as the smaller you make a printer the crappier it gets.

Deconstructive nanobots CBM: Yet another stupid idea.

It’s basically just an overpowered version of acetylene torch.
It works only on metal-containing things (steel, iron, superalloy, composite, heavy duty).

You touch some metal thing with your hand, a branch on nanobots sets on the surface, you give them and they start to work, constructing themselves out of this metal thing. After they are done - they self-destruct themselves, creating LOTS of metal you can gather. The radius is somewhat 2-3 tiles, because of they run out of energy you gave them.

Can be used on: terrain with metal (metal bars, metal doors, consoles), mobs (robots), and VEHICLES (allows you to deconstruct them extremely fast, though you get nothing but scrap metal and chunk of steel)).

Hmm, along those lines, a swarm of deconstructor drones that can butcher or disassemble quicker would be awesome.
