Yeah, how do we add this to the game? I wanna try out the under-over shotgun.

Also, I don’t get why we can’t make a pipe double barrel shotgun.

Okay, I’ll do what I can to help (Glad to hear someone like the sound of my work by the way)
You’ll need to get the code of what you want, so get the code from pastebin, but only what you’ll need for one section of code…

The above code is for the gun, it goes in the Ranged.json folder, if this has been changed, just let me know, and I’ll crowl out from under my rock of safety…
Then you’ll need the crafting code.

The above code is for the crafting recipe, and is meant to go into the Recipes.json folder, again if this has changed, it’s my bad.

IMPORTANT, YOU OUGHT TO READ THIS…

To open these folders up, and be able to edit them, you’ll need to use Notepad++, or another software capable of doing it…N++ is the one I use, and I find it very good.

Omit .38 firearms or alter them to become .357 firearms, i.e. make the 7-shot S&W 619 into the 6-shot 586. I tried that a while ago, never got to play-test though

This post makes me confused, why not just make a extended version of the same cylinder? I mean, .357 magnum is just a longer version of .38!

Also, this mod is on a ~1 month hiatus, since I am busy with school. Feel free to post code, I will have time to add that.

I might be able to find an alternate way to type up the code in Notepad and post it here for others to stick it into .JSON files.

And yes, I can think of many other firearms to add to this list, some of which I may even actually code

If I can ever find the patience to learn how to add new firearms to the game, I’d like to add the Lee-Enfield No. 4, the vz. 52 rifle, and the Saritch 308.

Maybe I might find some inspiration and motivation to learn how to modify Cata:DDA over my Christmas Break, which just started today, but I can’t guarantee anything.

It is actually quite easy. If you look at the code, you will probably figure it out, considering I was 15 and Finnish, and only had a glance at the code, and I could do it.
