Just had a delightful little encounter with an NPC.
She yelled at me to drop my weapon I said no. She said ok and we traded. I get a plasma engine (WOOO HOOO MY FIRST ONE EVER) and I give her 4 manhacks because I didn’t want to trade anything else. She then became suspicious of me and I couldn’t convince her otherwise. The NPC begins spaming manhacks (around 13 even when I gave her only 4). Fortunately, they are friendly to me then her head promptly explodes.
Wonder why they are considered “buggy”…
So… Rather than any attempts at surviving longer than a week, I found a working ATV and just rode it around in circles, slamming into random zombies. I then rammed into a Beetle and flew I front of the Beetle, and got run over. By the Beetle. Ouch.

Found a wreck near a town not far from my starting shelter filled with CBM’s of all kinds, no power supply or battery ones though. Now if only I could get at that library and find some electronics books…

These are the CBM’s I’ve got so far plus I started as a bionic patient, so I have hydraulic muscles and a metabolic interchange.
EDIT:Found a couple of electronic books and a first aid book and managed to install all the above except the internal storage with no problems.
The Internal Storage never seems to be worth it anyway, by the time I have the skills to easily install it I’m usually running around with a duffel bag and dragging a shopping cart wherever I go. I suppose having it installed doesn’t hurt, but the amount of space it offers never seems to make much of a difference at that point.
Spent a few days raiding labs for…stuff (such as a las pistol), spent more time reading the various Chemistry books and research notes and spent a further couple of days being a mad scientist cooking up a bunch of mutagens and then got assassinated by a window ninja moose wolves and a zombear at my only exit.
Rolled up a new char started in same shelter my previous char established as a base so I’ve got plenty of shit to read for skills and recovered some bionics and a bunch of ready made mutagens.
Don’t have a memorial file cause I F4’d the game to hoping that it didn’t save the death…it didn’t.

I’m pretty sure those were spider webs at one point. Also the game once decided to turn allot of dead animals into human corpses. Migrating from old saves is awesome like that.
