Yeah, it possibly means having a police bot spawn after being photographed by an eyebot
Robots, zombies, turrets. It was all the same at the end. Went down in one MP5 burst. That plus all of the armor made things incredibly uninteresting and pointless. No point in staying at one place for long so I started traveling pretty early. First from town to town, then from city to city. Should be fun to traverse it all again. Left quite a few vehicles and stashes behind.
People should STOP LIGHTING AMMO ON FIRE.[/quote]
Y’know they should at least shoot it with a flaregun, or lay a trail of paper wrappers as a fuse first. last time I did that trick some of the ammo was thrown out of the explosion and exploded right next to me.

Bullets no longer work as mini-breaching charges… So yeah, stop setting ammo on fire.
Aww
I’ve finally got a power storage cbm and a solar panel cbm. Never managed this before. The power storage is installed, but I’m sort of procrastinating about installing the solar panels, for fear of breaking them. Funnily enough, I was butchering a shocker to get some burnt out bionics to make a storage, but ended up getting exactly what I wanted.
Died. Tried again started with a “priest” NPC. Did some of the quest, got some guns (but not much ammo).
Holed myself in a mansion, went exploring and found a FEMA camp. Only had a .22 caliber handgun and a flaregun but I killed them all. One gigantic mistake though, I couldnt pierce the zed soldier’s armour so I shot one of them with the flare gun and let them burn next to me in the hopes of grabing any ammo before it could cook. Yeah it sounds like a bad idea NOW but then it sounded O.K. He must’ve had a grenade and some ammo because I nearly broke 2 apendages and my torso was in bad shape. Better now and back at mansion.
ate a few triffids. Why bother with farming, when food almost jumps in your mouth ?
I really should play wih NPCs on…
I have found that playing with a single NPC companion is pretty fun, just debug yourself an insane level of bartering so that you can buy from them all those idiotic things that they grab.
They work pretty good with a crossbow, you will just have to grab the bolts for them and keep reselling them (or you can debug give them an insane amount of 9 mm ammo at the start and don’t bother anymore)
Every time i find a NPC he tries to rob me, or asks me to put down my weapons and run away.
Usually i kill them (after they attack me, which i give them reason to), or drive a horde towards them and use them as my meat shields, pretty useful and resourceful they are.
Dead tired and unable to sleep due to two wounds from a random bat in my mansion on day two it almost cost me a perfectly good left arm.
it’s not rocket science to use a bat, but if you don’t know how, try avoid them. It’s not like there is only one weapon in Cata. Though i wouldn’t trust you with a fire weapon or with any sharp object if you can’t safely handle a bat.
I think he means the animal kind of bat.
if i wasn’t afraid i’d be a total duchebag, i’d offer to lend you my sense of humor (pour as it is) for a couple of days.
:l

So I don’t have to shake that sense of humor before pouring? Great.
Comedy Squad Go!
Still in mansion, killed a Mombie for a NPC. Found lot’s of ammo and more guns. Getting skills and such but not as many bionics and mutations.
Mmmk, time for my first serious long-term survival run in a while. I will be Kit Waterstone, the farmer’s daughter (I’m going to make a custom farmer profession for her). I think I’m gonna go with slightly larger cities (size 6?) and increased zombie spawns (1.5?) and start her off on a farm. Onwards, to ADVENTURE!
Edit: Huh, overalls aren’t in the game. Thought they were. shrug
Got molested by zombie scientists for the [redacted]th time.
