Don’t kill the Mi-Go yet!
It might say some more random stuff
BTW, what is really creepy is that it says (on top of the log) “manhack corpse”. o_o
Yeah. That has been bugging me too.
I can’t believe you guys never saw a Mi-go in a lab…
They act like parrots to attract you, then, when you enter their containment chambers they kill you.
Edit: BTW, what is really creepy is that it says (on top of the log) “manhack corpse”. o_o
They are the new and improved Manhacks. Made with 50 more human.
Found a doll in a lab, heard they were fixed and useable…
“You’re the best!”
“Oh, how fun!”
“You’re my best friend!”
“Take me with you!”
…Eh why not…
“Are you my mommy?”
You drop your talking doll.
You drop your socks.
You successfully light a fire.

I do believe I hit the jackpot with this evac shelter.
Lost about 15 days of ingame progress to a save corruption. I cheat-menu’d back most of the stuff that I lost as a result, and I’ll set the season length shorter by 15 days so I get to Fall by the same time as I would have, so there’s that, at least. Map progress and a cool artifact are gone forever, though
LOVE that shelter.
Found a house infested by black widow spiders, a whole swarm of them. Those bastards spin web all over the inferior. Thinking that they are not worth the effort killing, I start a fire in one of the web and it spread FAST! A few turn later and the whole place was ablaze in flames.
MUAHAHAHA DIE! DIE! I HATE SPIDERS!!!
You didn’t know that webs are extra flammable?
I know, but honestly I didn’t expect the fire to spread THAT fast, watching those trapped spider roasted to death was fun though
I once hit a skeleton head-on with a Molotov cocktail in a house. Every square except the one he was standing on caught fire. He stood stock still while the house burned around him, and several days later when the last vestiges of the fire had gone out he walked out of the rubble completely unharmed and came after me. In the end I just shot him.
So my latest char died… RIP.
Was removing parts from a car with some turrets set up behind me. I expected the turrets to handle whatever was coming, so I ignored all the messages.
Then I get the death screen from a Zombear
My last character just got back to the house he was using as a temporary shelter on the outskirts of a big city. He was hurt, most body parts being damaged and some even infected. I had no antibiotics and no medkits or bandages, so I thought I’d try and gear up and hit a pharmacy. As I was readying, my character began to hallucinate thanks to a negative trait I regret taking. This hallucination lasted a very long time and prohibited me from leaving, so my character got tired of it and committed suicide. Not a glorious way to go out, I know.
My character’s last words: “I’d rather die a man than live a monster.”
I just found a regional school and finished off the zombie children therein. During cleanup, I found several of them carrying bags of crack, and one of the zombie teachers carrying a glock.
Sandy hook?

I want to tell you my fast adventure i had 10 minutes ago.
Spawned in a Evac shelter 5 blocks from a city, I was like damn, better go check the underground, as I opened the door I was like, jackpot! The underground was filled with stuff, water bottles, backpacks and lots of food, but at a certain point my night vision warns me of the presence of a skeleton, not a big problem, took him out with ease.
So I packed up and went south, aiming for a gas station in the middle of nowhere, triffid groove 10 map tiles to the east, but not a great danger. So when I arrived I didn’t found much helpful materials, still managed to smash down the counter with an hammer and board up the windows, got some rocks, set up a fireplace and enjoyed a good book about construction. I went to sleep, outside a lightning storm was raging, but yet nothing interesting happened.
Woke up by light at about 10 am, outside was still raining, eat up some food and go outside.
As I opened the door I found a whole triffid family looking from the other side of the road, I was like “I bet they sent the welcome committee”, peeked behind the station even more of them, not to talk about the forest, they were everywhere. My though was “Well, my last stand”. Filled a plastic bottle with gasoline, now the triffid where in front of the gas station, poured it on the ground as one of them got about 3 tiles from me, used the lighter… “Hasta la vista triffid!”, The whole gas station turned into an inferno, entered in the building hoping to be safe from the explosions, amateur move duke, the whole station collapsed on me, was set ablaze from the raging fire and died.
Here lies a dumbass who thought that a triffid groove 10 tiles away won’t become a problem.
Mostly because I thought that the map was set in static spawn, instead it probably was in dynamic.
I took my Scooter Boomer (my scooter name) on a ride to the nearest city, expecting a whole lotta of zombies since I’ve the spawn rate set to 5.0. All sort of lovely electrocution shocks and acid spits coming from all sides. I was just there to map the city for night raiding but the whole plan went awry because my scooter was skidding like crazy, it was thunder storming out there, ultimately I jammed into a car and continued my way on foot to the nearest cave.
The static spawn option only affects zombies; triffids and ants and such are always dynamic.
Young Dominic the impaler!
Stuffing Chickens…
The thing found me!
Can’t seem to get enough sleep.
Are those real monsters, or just hallucinations?
I haven’t played cata in a few days.
