Bill (my car) and I are scientists now.
Today we tested the hypothesis, "Bill can drive through a building at 200 miles an hour"
We have since revived our hypothesis to "Bill can drive halfway through a building at 200 miles an hour, but he probably shouldn’t."
More testing is necessary. I suggest varying experimental parameters.
Currently playing as a martial artist’s guy (Centipede style ftw) And i’m camping out at a evac shelter wiche is RIGHT NEXT to a river. I had to fight off a bear at one point and i won out with few bruises. Centipede style feels OP atm. Oh, And i’m also trying to survive in the woodlands outside of town. Unfortunatly i lack certain materials i can only gain INSIDE of town. (But its full of zombies. :/)
Oh not to mention i killed a NPC cause he was close to my evac shelter and my guy is SUPER DEPRESSED For " Innocent Killing "
Well, on my clearing out of a normal sized town, i encountered a group of 90 zombies. I was over encumbered.
And i wiped them out with a pipe.

Would be curious to know what version you’re playing. If it’s 0.9, good job getting Centipede Style, and I’m glad to hear it’s working out for you. It’s basically the Fist of the North Star option, and is supposed to be pretty nice.
Just got to the bottom of a mineshaft and found the “Coat of Eldritch Death”
…I… I should probably leave this at the bottom of the mine and seal the entrance…

…I actually decided to do a playthrough wearing this thing XD though now I need to go with the slime arc just to survive the damn coat… And mutigen is broken I did manage to sneak past the thing by accident XD
EDIT: Dead, radiation sickness.
Aw.
For the curious
-3 STR, Radiation, See into forever.

I can drive Warp through an entire building block at 10000 miles per hour.

I can spin out of control and destroy a town. What’s your point? XD

Sorry havent been reading. I actually obtained centipede from the start of the game. I grabbed the trait for it and took centipede.
EDIT: Noticed i basically did nothing to contribute aside from talk to someone else: THERFORE:
Had another character spawn near the base camp (Was planning to make him my “Run into town like a idiot and come back with stuff if he’s alive”
(I really just needed parts)
Ended up dieing to a zombie horde.
Also yes as far as im aware i play at the latest update (Downloaded yesterday, OFC i have played longer but i havent bothered with the forums up untill now)

"… and so I stood there, unable to hold back my tears, as flames and smoke consumed the school. It was no longer a place of learning. No longer was it filled with the laughter and curiosity of children. It was a graveyard, a standing monument to what this world has become. I ended it though it gave me no pleasure, my heart dying a little each time. I could not just let them be as they were. The living dead. Fated to roam the earth eating the living. At least now they can rest once and for all. I can only hope someone does the same for me."
You monster… you didn’t pick up the flag first! WHERE IS YOUR PRIDE IN YOUR COUNTRY SON
It’s okay, the flag is more than 2 squares away from anything flammable and Cataclysm doesn’t have wind (yet).
Bill thought that I was wasting my time using an electrohack to get into science labs, so we just rammed our way in. It turns out that using the electrohack is a good idea after all. Bill lost a wheel and some armor plate to the turret inside the entrance before I could get a shot at it. Poor Bill, you should have listened to me
EDIT: on further consideration, we could just ram our way in from the side and flank the turret…
I haven’t been doing as much as some people in this thread. However I did just finish my welding Train. Its an unholy combination of all of the shopping carts that I at one time had thrown together into a sort of cargo hauler and a welding rig that I found. She runs off an electric engine and good old solar power, but she is light enough to drag if need be.
The cart:

it sits in my hallway when I dont need it:

It has a single bicycle wheel and several different kinds of casters for wheels. I like to picture it as some kind of horrific hotdog stand/shopping cart deathtrap. I might add a water tank and kitchen unit later for eating on missions.
I can pass through them without even destroying stuff in between. (hence warp)

…Well where’s the fun in that… -Insert Sadface here-

I love the vehicle.
So, the last experimental build.
Decided to create a world with static spawn, classy zombies but with 3x multiplier of spawn. I also turned on spawn in shelters.
Oops.
Fifty or more zombies around my character. Well, my character was a brawler with decent skills in brawling (3 lvl + quick & fast). Somehow I have escaped the ring of zombies and started to kite them.
Some time ago I got bored, started a fire in near bushes and ran. There were zombie-soldiers.
Whoops.
They burned and exploded in cascades, many zombies were exploded. I finally finished all the zombies.
http://puu.sh/5kbqE.png (You also can see that it’s very cold. I dunno why, I am in a winter coat and all - I suppose the explosion glithed my character)
Then I went. I went to the public works, got wounded there. Went to the farm, got wounded there without a chanse to cauterize. I guessed that it was the end, but the infection didn’t appeared.
I returned into my ramshackled shelter, undressed many zombies, drop all the clothes in the corner and fell asleep there. By the way, I was starving and thirsting all the way back, but found stash with food (got my leg into bear trap).
So, I decided to move to north. Found a pretty cabin. Inside the cabin was only a dog, a book about boxing and a tin can of beer.
Then I looked into the barn. There was a zombie - a forester, I suppose. I killed him, dragged to his lawn and pulped his body. Maybe I bury him later.
Now I have a house, a dog and a forest.

UPD: Oh, nearby was a zombie with a remington. I suppose, the first zombie was forester’s wife.
UPD2: Well, I just have stepped on a landmine in the middle of nowhere. Goddammit military forces, the most clever thing they did since the cataclysm is having some landmines deployed in the middle of a generic field.
