What's Happening in YOUR Randomly-generated Apocalypse?

The issue was more the paranoia about having dropped other stuff in the moments before i realised it was because my hands were webbed all of a sudden.

I also had small horns earlier on and I have no idea what caused those…

I’ve certainly done that on several occasions. Mostly with zombie technicians because I forget that they pull my weapons away half the time.

If not radiation then maybe telesickness causing your mutations?

Decided to start a new game. I like having NPCs on, but I’m not a huge fan of having one in the starting shelter (I prefer to go solo, you see.) In order to get them out of the way, I used the “Kill All NPCs” debug function, then briefly summoned a friendly shoggoth to destroy their stuff.

We ought to have a “delete items” debug function.

Wait is that a landmine in front of the entrance?
What type of school is this?
Ever seen Danganronpa?
Battle Royale?
Volcano High.

I just don’t think I’ve encountered anything that would give me that effect…

I met some Krecks and Grackens and Blank bodies but that’s the weirdest creatures I’ve seen.

Standard scenario: shower accident. Spawned next door to inferno castle… Burned to death :frowning:

Day 04

Started in a small town. No car. Left town on foot with a shopping cart. Ant country. Cant kill the ants in melee, not in the numbers they track me in. Shotgun, ran out of ammo. Sten. Running low. No car. No fuel. No water. No melee. only Jack ants and soldier ants.

Pay attention to see if you get struck by a dart or something like that when you mutate. I had something like that happening a few months ago whenever I went around a certain area that had some kind of… rift in dimensions or something? I can’t remember. But there were also krecks and grackens around there, so it might be that. Watch out for… yuggs? as well because they can mutate you.

Yes, yuggs mutate you. Very annoying.

We can’t stop here. This is ant country.

Nearest I noticed was being stabbed by one of those fungal monsters. Not a fungal zombie. I forget the name. It said poison was injected.

We do, hit the debug menu and press ‘d’ then hover over your NPC of choice and hit “delete all items”. It should then be all deleted and you’re free to implode his/her head at your will.

Nothing much, but i really enjoyed it.
Playing a 40-days old survivor with 91-day seasons. Item spawn set to .5 and zed spawn to .7. Static, wander spawns, zeds, npcs of both type, all on.
Looting slowly and minding my own business, trying to find books and vehicle parts.
Then going into a new area (safe mode off) i realize we’ve got a Hulk (and its the only zed around).
My combat skills are mid-lvl (5ish) but i also got dodge 5 and a slightly worn fire axe.

Step 1: Fire a bush (happily it was not raining)
Step 2: Dodge the first blow
Step 3: Knockback the hulk about 10 times. Really, each hit was a knockback, and apart from that first dodge the Hulk got no hits in.
Step 4: Walk away without a scratch.

Ok, i’m by no means near god mode. No mutations or CBM’s, mid skills, 8/10/10/8 stats, slowly improving my situation.
But such incidences fill this particular survivor with optimism for what’s next.

Was woken up by something above my LMOE. Went outside

I’d imagine you either lost that character or killed it, sustaining heavy injuries in the process…

Not at all. I was sleeping there for the night and the moose managed to coat the forest with vicera.

I slinked away.

I was dispatched by the merchantry to investigate the disappearance of a scavenger caravan, and knowing there would be raiders, I went in prepared. Alongside my trusty LeMat revolver, I brought in a tommy gun, Ithaca M37, and my M1911. I spotted the bandits’ camp from a way off, and sneaked through the nearby forest in the stealthiest manner possible. Then I got into a firefight. Cata firefights are fun! Nothing like pumping some lead into some scoundrels.

Right now I’m reporting back to the merchants, and then I intend to travel off in search of the greatest handgun ever made, the Colt Single Action Army, so that I can show the next batch of fools why they call me “revolver”.

Greatest handgun ever made?

The .600 Nitro Express Zeliska revolver called. It wants its title back.

I feel like the Colt better fits the title, a handgun can only be so great if it breaks your wrist when you shoot it.
