I have about 200l of gasoline and a spare engine on my Armored RV, but never had to use it, enough diesel for me to go around.

Here I am, driving through the forest trying to reach a military outpost
Earlier today RNG blessed me and I found a set of heavy power armor, helmet, and hauling frame in bank safes, including teleport and time CBMs.
I didn’t have the bionic UPS but I made it due to me having the portfolio. Picked up other sorts of nick-nacks like a mini reactor.

Anyways, as i’m driving by, I see a NPC walking by. I quickly stopped the car, got out and greeted him. He was afraid of me, I could tell because my intimidation chances were around 66%. I decided to be friendly, but my chances of success were 44%. I failed and he turned to flee. After seeing this, I turned my power armor on.

I quickly checked what weapon he had - not that it mattered, since i’m wearing full heavy power armor, but just out of curiosity.
An American-180. Fully automatic .22 caliber submachine gun. Perfect.

A dastardly smile swept across my face as I walked up to him and planted myself in clear view. I giggled as 161 puny .22 rounds plinked all over my body. A look of horror shows on his face as I hack him to bits with a katana.

Also a few (in game) days before I found the power armor I got a katana from a stone house. Replaced my halberd.

Cleared out the outpost without any problems, but right now i’m looting and clearing out the basement. I had some trouble with an armored zombie, but all this military loot makes it worth it.

Bottlenecking on ammonia in my quest to ‘improve’ my survivor. Will likely have to move the lab to another location to continue the quest. Also working on training up unarmed because why not?

I tore a bunch of stuff out of a crashed, wheel-less APC today. I stole all the military composite plating and put it on my RV; I stole the M2 Browning HMG and put that on the RV as well. I had already ripped out the external tanks to use as a water and clean water drum on my safehouse’s electrical system, but today I went the extra mile and stole the windshield to use it as a window on the safehouse via the electrical system. Additionally, I went to a decent-condition Humvee and ripped a bit more plating out of that, too; I also snagged the wheels, and using a boom crane on my motorcycle, turned the RV into an eight-wheeled monstrosity that crushes everything in its path.

I’ve done the opposite. I’ve been installing kitchen, forge and fridge rigs into an atomic minitank.

And enlarging it into a normal sized tank. And covering it with turrets and putting a mounted grenade machine gun on top.

I’m trying to code in a Lamia Mutation category, using the new jsonized mutations. I’m quickly running into brick walls as to what I can do, since I’m not sure where the documentation is. Also I can’t actually make NEW mutations, just cannibalize existing code and shuffle numbers around.

I want to make a 2-tier mutation for growing a noodle tail. So there would be an ‘adolescent’ stage, where a pre-threshhold lamia doesn’t have a full tail yet. They should get a bunch of disadvantages due to having literally no legs, and like 3 feet of snake tail. Then a post-thresh stage where you grow the entire rest of the tail. And after that, there’s more mutations to further change it. Right now the only one I have setup is Armoured Scales. It essentially turns your tail(And your boopable cheeks) into a bulletproof vest. But there might be other alternatives such as a Constrictor Tail to give strength bonuses and a powerful grab, or a sea-snek tail that lets you swim faster.

I also changed the elf-ears so that a lamia can end up with pointy ears too! None of this is PR’d yet, so it’s remaining on my private branch until I can get everything worked out.

First time starting up a game in a good while, and the RNG is good with this one. The first house I break into to find supplies is one of those rich-people houses (not mansions), and after dispatching a zombie with a heavy stick and entering through the window he graciously broke open for me there was a katana sitting on a display rack in the middle of the living room. Too bad I never go with starting with any form of martial art.

Edit: And then I died from a giant wasp that seemingly teleported inside the house I was in because it didn’t break any windows. Well, it wouldn’t be Cata for me if I didn’t die about ten times before I live a long time.

Yes I did go near a crater. But my radiation biomonitor said I wasn’t radiated and the radiation badge only went blue at which I ran the hell away.

I cheated them back into my inventory because of how stupid this was.

I also discovered I don’t seem able to make purifier for some reason…

You can search your savegame to find back your stuff if you dropped it. (I did when I threw my baton to a Z by accident and had not realized).
