Lucked out and found a gas station in the middle of the woods, south of a prison, east of a city, and west of a bunker (Still haven’t opened it…).
I am half-way through looting the city (I think, it might be bigger) I have a flatbed truck but it is dying (Squirrels EVERYWHERE on the road don’t know how to GTF out of my way!)
And a motorbike with no engine (Though it says it has one?)
I have enough supplies laying around to make a survivalist blush, enough guns for a gun-nut, and complete set of re-enforced gear (In including eyeglasses, a raincoat, and under-armor thanks to my soldering Irons)
and a few CBM’s (None that generate power though :I, waiting on that to install them)
So now I am sitting in my Trap and Pit surrounded gas station (Kind of Ironic since I work in one IRL) wondering…
What now?
BTW any advice on hacking comps and using electrohacks?
Raise your computer skill by reading books. Or train it with the console in the sewer processing plants, there is one in the sewer area that never breaks.

I just lost my character day 25, tried to mod a few files to make the game a bit different.
Screwed up and decided to start again with the newest version.
That weird feel when you can take water from the toilet… through the wall.
However, now I’ve got a gallon jug of clean water and also canteen of refreshing tea.
I wonder where do i get more of that precious tea leaves. And what is this… oh wait, who added kompot?
3l jar of kompot
Oh you, devs, now it feels like i’m visiting my grandma in the village near the Novosibirsk.
I have literally assloads of inactive turrets and manhacks that i found in military bunkers.
Do turrets have infinite ammo? Will they brak after some time? Can i pick them back up?
Yes, I don’t think so, and yes. Just examine them to get them back. Be aware that installing turrets near your base may prevent you from sleeping as they shoot rabbits all night long.
Thanks for the information.
I have over 20 turrets , but now i just have to figure out how can i place them inside fungal spires without infecting with spores.

Wear a gas mask.
Fuck kompot. It’s 2040ish in New England, US and suddenly every survivor is a 120 years old Polish person, in order to autolearn that recipe. Where are my croissants, tacos, noodles and sushi?
Back to topic, I burned myself using that spraycan flamethrower fighting a moose (those things are straight-up crazy aggressive).
Now that makeshift welders are craftable I spend a lot of time hunting dat sweet electricity in form of batteries. Actually whenever I get a funnel I wish it rained acid, thanks to the possibility of collecting acid to make batteries with.
The fact that you can smash ovens for the heating elements made water purifier a tempting option since long-crafting jerrycans of water to clean them is definitely something you have to do right or suffer the consequences, including, but not limited to, losing your achievements for the last segment after the autosave.

You inactivate them by trying to walk into the square they are in. (Only works with friendly turrets.)

You don’t need to be 120 and Polish to know kompot.
Croissants, tacos, needles and sushi I imagine have already gone off.
1st day, i started in the middle of a residential area apart from the town, a settle down in a road gas station finding a working bike to loot the houses.
2nd day, i went sleep in the floor with a blanket but my FACE was too cold!? what? i can’t cover my face with the blanket? in the morning i got the flu…
Finally got the 11th V8 engine I needed for that speed record, managed to steer my little dragster out of the garage and through the opening in the fence without crashing into anything (no small feat at 70+ km/h, the minimum speed it will move at), get to a nice long straight stretch of road without running into any wildlife, get aligned and start picking up speed.
At around a 1000 km/h, a squirrel appears on the road. Maneuvering is out of the question, but I strike it dead center, dealing some 14000 damage with a spike! I lose control of the car, but somehow keep going straight anyway, and keep accelerating.
And run out of gas…
Back to the drawingboard, gonna need more gas tanks.

I installed 2 electric motors in my hippie love bus and it already had waaaay to big acceleration for me. With 40km/h acceleration i totally wrecked my garage and somehow got stuck sideways in the garage because if you press handbrake it is possible to instantly turn 90 degrees in any direction , which is awsome because now i am trying to replicate it on the streets , but that usually leaves me with thousands of broken solar panel slots.
Finished my vehicle yesterday, looks kinda like a dragster or an F1 racer too-- but only with one 5~6.5L V6 engine I stole from a pickup. It’s got absolutely crazy acceleration, although the top speed isn’t anything to sniff at. Something like 180 safe, 350 unsafe. Still not made any spikes for it yet, but it’s completely steel plated, with some spiked plating at the front. (might take some of the steel plating off and replace all the wheel plating with spiked plating as well, since they’re what seem to hit zeds the most.)
The deathspike.

2 Gas tanks, 3 Trunks, 3 headlights (one front, two rear facing)
There’s a floor trunk in the middle, planning to add another trunk on the rear alongside more spiked plating and plenty of spikes and blades everywhere. minimum speed from zero seems to be 19.
Also dear lord the trunks can hold so much more than the last time I messed with vehicles. My loot trunk is carrying the better part of my entire mansion-fort stash, in addition to whatever loot I pick up on the road. it’s up to `an at the moment iirc.
