They say there are no dangerous weapons, only dangerous people. Things like this are the reason they say this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_City_bombing
I’d rather have people go on shooting sprees then reproduce anything like that.
My last world was generated with quite a lot military outposts, a GREAT resource for ID cards. Even brought up rifle skill from 0 to 5 in no time by ‘sniping’ turrets. Now I just need to find some ammonia or anything else for my welder to attach the newly aquired inactive turrets to my car, together with the stupid high amount of 9mm ammunition from destroyed turrets. And, need to find more bunkers, still got ~20 military ID cards left.
I’m cruising around a small town, all buckled up and even loud with holstered glock, trying to see if there is any crack in a 500-yard radius swarming with Z’s. Both hardware store and a couple of garages are off limits. I even got a teleporter somehow, but after a few steps inside this town they just start pouring and pouring from, sh*t everywhere!
It’s day 6. I’m seriously considering giving them a crimson storm somehow.
I just started playing Cataclysm again after a long break, i am currently trying to clear a town i have been to before in a previous playthrough with an archery based character. It is going suprisingly well considering all i got is a longbow, some wooden arrows and a crowbar (for those pesky skeletons).
I have reached the infamous “What do?” phase again. My current character drank a flask of mutagen early and got fleet footed, which instantly upgraded to road runner. I have not touched the stuff since. I amuse myself by hoarding more though. I, am loaded on bionics, walk around with a katana and a fusion gun, have stocked up more bang and boom than I could possibly use etc etc etc.
Perhaps I will make an attempt at some insane custom vehicle. So far I have merely upgraded the engine of my flatbed truck. I could also make an attempt at stomping a triffid grove but I kind of like the high spawn rate of food.
I put an electric motor and solar panels on a quad bike, but it’s not powerful enough to back out of the garage, so I just stole a truck. I installed a M249 turret, but it shattered the windshield killing a bunny. Since then I’ve been driving from town to town looking for a bigger vehicle.
I’ve looted a dozen towns and nothing so far, although the scooter and the golf cart were amusing. I’ve got a gas mask so I may explore the toxic gas in that mine I discovered, or maybe try my hand at killing a whole hive of bees. While I’m at it, I’m going to see if I can just enlarge the vehicle I have instead of finding one.
A little bit after spawning I was looting some houses when I see a zombie starts entering through a window, there was like 2 or 3 zombies behind him so I start running away and just after I closed the door I think that maybe I can kill them with with crowbar, FATAL MISTAKE When I start hitting them I see like 20 or more yellow ?'s and just when I think of running they all swarm at me… -.-
i started up the new version and found a wolf suit of all things. it would be awesome if you could actually use it to sneak as zombies don’t seem to attack wolves.

Are you wearing head gear?
That is the most common reason.
should i not be?
You should always wear a wool cap when sleeping (or something warmer) or you will have a very hard time staying asleep. The same goes for socks and pants.
My face always freezes during the night. I have plenty of everything else but my face is always cold, only thing I’ve found is a dust mask and it’s only a warmth of 10, what else is there for face?
Hey dead. if you’re preparing to sleep you should be fine just wearing more than one dust mask, I think you can wear more than one at least. remember to take them off when you wake up though. Mouth encumberance inhibits breathing and = inhibits runspeed a little.
As for other items, Scarves and balaclavas are nice. gasmasks give a nice bit of heat too. cotton/knit hats, fur hats…
You can make a lot of it if you butcher some skins or furs.
