So I was playing around with the git version.
I found a school, I cheated myself an AK-47 and ammo and cheat boosted my skills and went on a rampage in the school.

I can see the headlines now: “school shooting caused by crazed gun man thinking he was in a zombie apocalypse, we blame video games.”

Also they are are a morale blackhole I’ve only killed 70 zombie kids and have like -200 morale I may be killing children for no good reason but at least I feel terrible about it.

My 02Feb char got bored: found/tunneled to a Hellmouth but couldn’t do anything with it, took out another Triffid HQ (apparently the Heart’s death-effects only trigger if you kill it yourself, rather than torching it), and repeated trials indicate that Rat Caves probably aren’t worth the bother to clean out.

Fortunately Shade was kind enough to put his martial-arts code into a fresh git version. So far, interesting.

You know those pool tablets? Yeah, they are actually only 1 ingredient away (and it can be added) from a high chlorine gas.

Frankly, anything can be used to kill people. Take away guns, they will make thermite. Ban metal, and they will use sticks. Tie the bastards down in a concrete cell, and watch someone make a friggin paper crossbow.

If someone is set on killing people, there is bugger all that you can do, aside from arresting them and moving them away from society, that can stop them.

Intresting note, Zyklon B (A nazi cyanide-based nerve agent that functions by inhibiting cellular respiration, my face when I understand this shit because of high-school biology classes) Is still being sold today as a pesticide. It was originally developed as a pesticide too, actually.

Anyway, if the chinese can make armour and funky cranes out of paper I’m sure we can fabricate some kind of superweapon out of it.
Also I’d rate that design a 3/10 as it has no fore stirrup, so reloading it would be a pain.

Also here’s a design on a simple pistol crossbow you could make at home.
There’s also designs for tasers and stuff on that mechanical mashup site, although I already own several cheap tasers.

Simple taser design: 2 nails, a quarter farad capacitor, and a paper weight. Apply pointy bits to person you don’t much care for.

Also, it was a design made in 2 days. It isn’t going to be perfect lol.
