Where do you find a mounted crossbow? I’ve been playing for the longest time and have never found one lick of one.
No clue, I know they exist but I’ve never seen one spawn. I’m just assuming they’re ultra rare or in a recipe I haven’t found yet.
Running to a hotel with poor armour, but a decent shotgun with plenty 00 ammo (caffeinated gunshop run).

I’ve got a shitload of guns (AK-47, FN-FAL, Uzi, USP.45, USP.9mm, Rivtech Shotgun, Laser Pistol, etc.) and ammo for each one of them, also, i have a wakizashi and grenades.
I recently found a map for the sewers and was surprised to find out that they cover the whole majority of a BIG city. Time to go raid it.

Got attacked by a zombear, I killed it, but my karate fighter decided it would be a good idea to block with only his arms, so now I have one broken arm and can no longer use my bow, the only decent weapon ranged weapon I have. I’m still new to this game so I don’t know how to deal with broken limbs, so I just stuck it in a splint and am hoping it will get better…
In other news, I’ve started building an outpost so hopefully I won’t have to stay cowering in the survivor shelter much longer…
Karate only allows blocking with arms. Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and Taekwando allow blocking with legs as well as arms.
Splints take a very, very long time to work, around several WEEKS. Be prepared to sit around for quite some time. I think health, sleep, and hunger may factor into this.
If you have food and water stored up, consider spamming poppy sleep to speed up time. Just be careful about addiction.

I’ve been using karate the whole time with this character and he’s always blocked with his legs before, with almost no consequences just this one fight he decided to only use his arms until one of his arms broke, then he started using his legs…
I’ve just recently gotten enough cooking experience to make sealed food, so I should be able to store a bit, but I don’t have a whole lot of food since most of my meat stockpile rotted

Disarmed a crossbow trap (more accurately, managed to dodge the bolt when it went off) so now my archer has a weapon that only requires one arm… tested it out on a rat
hopefully the next rain that comes through will wash away the blood…
snowed in up in ny, time to take a well needed break from college and dl the newest version… probably will be wilderness build around archery and survival should be fun can’t wait for realistic weather and climate in the game
Over the course of my current journey I’ve found a set of Power Armor plus Helmet, an advanced UPS, some plutonium, a Rivtech LMG, and some ammo. I’m carrying all of that around in a duffle bag I made form the evac shelter’s curtains currently.
I feel like a super-hero… …a super hero going from lab to lab looking for lizard mutigen… …and a car…
