Should be able to make a crossbow that fires red-hot rebars as well.
Another suggestion: Water gun/super soaker.

Well, if concentrated acid is going to be used, then its going to have to be a separate, modified version of a water gun. Most water guns are entirely made out of plastic. Perhaps fire, soldering iron, a sheet of glass and so on would be needed

Just copy the .json for bolts and change the stats. No idea how to use GitHub to merge it, but if you post it there, I’m sure some coder will help.
12.7 weaponry - just for lulz.
Laser pointer - no direct damage, but lowers perception of the target.
Meat hook - add a rope and you will get a retrievable throwing weapon.
Drill - somehow useful as a weapon, but much better as a tool for opening metal doors.
Cryogun - sprays liquid nitrogen, freezes everything. Succesfull freezing multiplies all damage to the target. And hey, we’ve got an ice labs, we totally should have this thing!
Well, laser pointers can actually do long lasting damage to the eye, so i suggest that it be a precise weapon that damages the head and use batteries as ammo. I can’t wait blow a hulks head off with a laser pointer, its gonna be kickass
What about a pistol crossbow?
Maybe two versions then?
Red ones which are too small to cause direct damage and green army ones which actually can burn your eyes out.
Pistol crossbows are in the game already.
How useful are they?

As to laser pointers… how about adding a crafting recipe for a laser rifle from CDRW or DVD drives and a microwave oven or something? 
Or maybe a laser sight? And maybe a crafting recipe for improved iron sights, if sights are still what they are in the future.
