But NPCs are a source of valuable resources AND comedic value. Getting stuck in a feedback loop until their heads explode? Hilarious. And has saved my life at least once when I was reading and one spawned right next to me and opened fire without warning. Thankfully it was just with a .22 pistol and I had on my heavy battle gear…I still don’t know what made that one go Scanners but I was sure glad it happened.

It was the high rate of fire of the .22 pistol.
The NPC AI loop assumes that if it attempts to take 10 actions in one turn it must be stuck in an infinite loop of some kind and triggers the headsplosion. Obviously this was in reaction to them frequently getting stuck in infinite loops at some point.

I’ve implemented a water cooler with clean water. Soon to be found in a boxing gym near you.
It’s a bit of a hackjob, but it should work.
Unless I’ve messed up the placement and the water ends up spawning inside the walls or something.
Also it doesn’t actually cool the water yet.
The idea was for it to also spawn in offices, office blocks and maybe garage waiting rooms-- places like that.
Not being able to sleep (both in game and IRL).
Zombie dogs, although they don’t seem so troublesome in the latest versions.
Dying when I could have done something really obvious to prevent it.

Military rucksacks aren’t common enough. They are easily some of the most useful things in-game.
