Adding on to this idea, how about:
Thong + Mini-Flamethrower CBM= Groin Flamethrower
Thong + Finger Mounted Lazer CBM- Lazergroin
Thong + Fuson Blaster Arm CBM- Fusion Blaster Groin
Thong + Chain Lightning CBM- Lightning Groin

You forgot thong + machinegun = machinegroin.
that recoil though
Groin Alloy Armor CBM?
And to do with it, a nut-puncher zombie. Maybe once we get the Dwarf Fortress-style damage system in, huh?
NPCâs that become exact duplicates of you , murder you and then you play as them. (nothing essentially changes!)
This is already implemented; it happens while the game isnât running.
CBM: Leg Assault Rifle
You have cut off your right leg below the knee and replaced it with an assault rifle! You have infinite ammo, but also move significantly slower.
(guess the movie reference)

⌠Itâs the one with the massively gratuitous violence and was like sin city meets charlies angels, right?
Or, better yet, letâs have a CBM where you chop off your arm and replace it with a not-actually-terribly-useful plasma cannon ooooowaiiiiitttt
Come to think of it, can you remove the Blaster Arm CBM? If so⌠does the survivor just keep his arm on his person until he needs it again or
Oh, and eaten food installed CBMs should still contribute to your carried weight. If you eat too much, you can get fat and incur encumbrance penalties.
yea⌠Cata characters tend to do a lot of running, climbing, wailing, hiking, hauling, and bashing. I donât think they could fat if they tried, unless they REALLY tried by stocking up on stuff and then staying in eating the foodstuffs while doing basically nothing else. Especially since they would have heightened metabolism from all the ânaturalâ workouts, and that metabolism would be slow to drop. I see no real need for anything there to be changed from how it is now ^.^
Brain-bleach C.B.M.! If you use a console without it, you permanently lose int and per.
maybe you mean with?
If you donât have the free running, everytime you run through objects you have a tiny possiblity of tripping, risking to receive damage and lose precious turns.
But letâs not stop here, letâs extend it to all normal walking. You have a really really tiny possiblity of falling, risking to receive damage and moving to a random adjacent tile. Landmines fun!
you made that too good a suggestion. off Topic.
Ok. Then, if you are carrying a melee weapon with a sharpened point, you have a really tiny chance when falling to impale yourself into it. Way to go for nerfing melee! What do you think?
It may happen. Thats you beeing unlucky. its realistic if the chances are realistic. Sudden death by random chance in a game isn t a good idea though most of the time.
To me it sounds funny yet its prolly a bad idea.
And that won t nerf melee at all so its deffinatly a bad idea way to go.
Dynamic difficulty scaling. Basically, every day you stay alive every enemy you meet does 10% more damage, has 10% more health, 10% more armor, 10% higher to hit bonus and a 10% higher resistance to everything.
By my calculations no one should survive more than about two weeks.
shoe laces have a chance to become untied without you noticing. You may receive some tripping warnings 90% chance of nearly a small trip. Only solution is to stop for a few turns and tie them.
large chance of tripping over untied laces, especially when moving over obstacles, especially unsafe obstacles such as broken windows that havenât been double smashed clean. Large chance it does 90% of max heath damage, or just a large static number of HP points, mostly to chest, but also possible to do so to other body parts. If head 90% chance insta death (trip stabbed your brain) If chest 5% chance of stab your heart (instakill) in addition to small chance of tripping at any time over your own feet (made truly minuscule if you donât have free running feat) BUT STILL PRESENT.
there think that gets it properly horrible. It makes sense IRL sorta⌠but would just be terrible to have in game.
But it gives us the ability to tie zombie shoelaces together to hobble them and turn them into crawlers!
