In addition to this we need the worms to come back hard. The graboids have receeded into the background too much and need to make a re-entrance in style.
They should be more plentiful then they have been in recent additions, gain the ability to slowly tear away at buildings, roads and other obstacles that can halt their ability to immediately eat you.
They should also gain the ability to continue their life-cycle into the fast running shriekers, and the flying egg laying, ass-blasters.
The Ass-blasters should naturally start fires on takeoff and be able to appropriately fly and hunt-down pray.
They should also get the opportunity to zombie-up like all the other nasty creatures of DDA.
GrabZoids should gain the ability to eat and spit out chunks of terrain/houses that are in their way of the victim in larger chunks, faster, as well as gain the ability to eat multiple tiles of vehicles in one bite before spitting it back out for high damage against anything and everything it hits, While also leaving layer of blob when it break/stays to close to the surface.
Zhriekers should be stronger than shriekers, but just as terrifyingly fast.
Ass-Blazeters should gain the ability to fire their now sterile egg mid flight, which breaks on impact in a small explosion scattering specialized blobs that cling to prey like the slime balls the turrets in the Incredibles movie. Each ass-Blazeter only gets the one egg however, and is not afraid to make up for this by intentionally starting raging fires to corner prey, unlike their non-zombified counterpart that only does so on takeoff, and not intentionally.
Evil enough yet? We can’t have the off-road be a safe haven from the sinkholes, without throwing horrors ti make you stay on the road. That just wouldn’t be right… until you run out of road of coarse. Or are no longer able to outrun the shriekers, and ass-blasters and their zombie counterparts.
