this desing and image is from times when this didnt worked in tiles
As I suspected. ;w;

unicycle? i did this before but design is obsolete
casters , light frame, foldable seat, foot crank, controls, cargo carrier
i think headlight, battery and solar panel should fit there but im unsure about that, maybe some armor plating too
and if navigating inside buildings you can just pull this at ease because it have casters not wheel but casters do not work now with engines/foot cranks

This design is still viable? I need desperately a easily / quick vehicle for lotting the near houses. My Evac shelter spawns near a city, and “safeguarded” with land mines (lucky me), the zeds just lurk around and goes pulped by the landmines, so a lot of free loot just outside my shelter.
a dragged cart is useful too, I started to search for mini guides and stuff.
I present to you, my scrap Buggy.
It’s constructed out of a T shaped regular steel frame with superalloy plating to protect the important bits and a roof. The roof is shielding me, my car parts and my loot from rain. It also as two headlights, 3 trunks, a solar panel and a storage battery. Inside the middle trunk is where my gasoline tank is, so it’s shielded with a superalloy plating. Surrounding the regular frame are extra light frames I crafted from disassembled display racks from the lab. Scavenged the engine and car parts from a public works facility. The frame was part from the lab and part from other cars. Solar panel was from a electric vehicle that was unusable.
The entire vehicle was sort of modeled after the scout car from Half-Life 2, all I need now is a controllable turret.
The construction is pretty fragile, too, but it’s open, so I can shoot zombies as I drive by if I wanted to.
EDIT: Also forgot to mention that it’s light enough to drag around if I wanted.
Interesting design, how about a complete vehicle to dismantle / repair other vehicles? I need to do one for salvaging every vehicle on the city.
That includes tanks to salvage gasoline / diesel / water
EDIT:
Lucky I fin a garage with some tools and 1 functional motorcycle with few damage but it can run. Also an car with a functional fridge with some gasoline. I gonna make a welder rig out of the scraps i got, it can be done foldable? or is better I create a small “motorcycle” with some trunks and a welding rig? and a gasoline tank? is because is for making a salvaging vehicle, so I can repair vehicles for driving them to my base and completely dismantle it for get all the scraps?
Them how about a 1 tile cycle (foldable) for going back. Or just making a bit more sized one 3x3 and give more cargo space, so I can totally dismantle any vehicle for dump the scraps in my base. What option is the best?

this nearly works, you must replace casters with some other type of wheel
I’m a complete noob when it comes to boat building. Can someone post a design for a simple oar powered boat?
No Gravity Gun required!
The only major catch is that the minimum number of boat boards for movement is 3, instead of 2 like with normal wheels.
Are you sure? because it says lacks of wheels, but if I extend the frame to add 2 wheels, it works. but not with a wheel. :c
something changed again?
You’ve need multiple wheels (or a single stable one) for a long time. I’m assuming that the only change was that casters might not be steerable. >.<
Get a bicycle wheel and you should still be able to slap it on as a unicycle wheel. :V

What’s the item needed for boat boards?
…boat boards. >.>
Fabrication 3, autolearned and no books needed. Level 2 hammering quality, level 1 wood sawing quality. Needs 5 two-by-fourss and 30 nails.
So basically those function as wheels?
Wheels for boats, yes. XP
I guess that’s why the “boat” I made on the sewers feels sluggish. It was basically wheelchair wheels which turned some sewer tiles into dirt.
…that explains a lot, yeah. You would’ve had Fun if you tried driving the “boat” into deep water.
I used an inflatable boat when I went to rivers. Would paddle to the middle of the river, step out of the boat, and try to shoot at nearby fish with the wrist DREAD.
That said, is there any way to detect the fish without dropping into the water?
Are boards just floor pieces for a car?
