I actually got the Mega Wheelchair up to 800mph on a road until the engine started bursting into flame. Then I slammed into a squirrel, went flying off the road and into a forest, got ripped out of the 5-point harness, flew through a house window and exploded against a wall. Wish I had of screenshotted it, the results were as messy as they were hilarious.

One time I welded 4 gas tanks and 8 V12s on a sports car. I briefly went over 1000, upon which I hit a wolf. My entire car was reduced to 0 health. I skidded for a map tile before hitting a raccoon. My entire car exploded in a cloud of scrap and glass. The driver’s seat was sheared off, so I leaped into the passenger’s. I skidded 4 more map tiles in my horrible wreckage of a car before crashing into some trees and coming to a stop. I survived with only a little damage.

I actually haven’t played a CDDA build (that hasn’t crashed when trying to vehicle) in a while, but when I do, I shall do my damnedest to top that Epitaph, I’ll probably fail, but I will try! Also, can’t wait to see what abomination that turns out to be.

Oh I don’t think I’ll be polishing that off anytime soon, seeing as I can barely drive the Sweet Chariot over a field full of shrubs without busting up the floor and getting my turrets ripped from the sides. Just a few minutes ago I hit a dog and the impact nearly shattered a sheet of military composite armor.

Vehicles are great. I love them. But for the time being I think I’ll be tuning up something with a lower profile.

It really irritates me as well that shrubs and small animals can rip off chunks of armored plating. I mean, really? Does an Abrams tank have to dodge around in a field to avoid hitting blueberry bushes?

here i will present you to the S-MUV (solar multi use vehicle),
a new design brought about by survivor-tech.

comments:
frame is full HD with military plating all around, also reinforced + mil. plated windshields.
all doors are HD hatches, with 150 storage space each.
all solars are upgraded & reinforced.
the 2x3 area in the midlle is where all the rigs are (Kitchen, Foodco, Fridge, Forge, Chemical, Welding) and around it there are 17 cargo spaces + my seat that doubles as bed.
In the middle area there are 2 water tanks, 2 gasoline tanks and 2 hydrogen tanks.
In the rest of the space, under all other solar panels there is 1 storage, 1 truck and 1 car battery. Electrical capacity should be around 4 million charges at 100%

now the quirk:
The 6 B’s in the front are spiked-plated 52" roller drums, each one weighting 750kg, scavenged from a road roller.
This has the advantage of making the vehicle rolling over everything, but loaded it weights more than 14 tonnes.
To move this monster, i use just 2 large electric motors. Actual max speed is 112kph (and not 721), but in some tests, when crashing into a wall at max speed, only the plating needed replacements, while the wall was brought down.

PS. i think this gets close to the record of total-weight/total-frames-used for custom survivor mob. bases.
Not sure if that’s good though.
