LOGRIN YOU HAVE WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS
Don’t I know it, I basically had a roof and walls over the thing before heavy duty frames went in. Had to rip it all apart and start over.
And don’t even get me started on the Zombears…it’s like I was slapping this thing together with honey.
So, I was able to make my welder… now the problem is batteries (went through about 1200 in just repairs)
This is how my Steel Kitten looks at the moment.
It’s missing a wheel at the moment and I can’t really repair it cause I need more batteries :c

No roofs, no boards, no wheels and no cargo the frame weighs in just shy of a whopping

Motherfucker… I’ve got a job now I can’t afford to waste three days rebuilding the RMCC to contend with this. GODDAMN IT.
Not much right now but a lot of storage and almost all of it is steel plated. But still need to finish the roof.

Start snipping the seat belts out of every car you ever see now. You’ll need them if you want to upgrade those floor trunks to cargo-spaces.

An easy way to switch your LMOE lighting from gas to electric would be to set up a solar panel to charge a storage battery. This could be stuck on any vehicle you use for raiding/logging or just left outside on its own. Batteries retain their charge when removed, so you could just switch it out for a fresh one once it’s full. Rinse and repeat to keep your light going off a stock of reusable batteries.

Thanks but also. Are floor trunks better that trunks and when I press i on the floor trunks the cargo spaces don’t show
Regular trunks are better than floor trunks.
A Helpful List:
Cargo Space - 1000
Trunk - 650
Chemlab/Kitchen Buddy/RV Kitchen Unit/Welding Rig - 400
Floor Trunk - 350
Minifridge - 300
Box - 275
Stow Board - 250
Shopping Cart Basket - 200
Wire Basket - 60
Floor Trunks and Cargo Spaces have the added benefit of not slowing you down as you pass over them, while the minifridge–if powered–keeps food fresh longer. Stow boards block LOS/Movement while also acting as storage space.
That is really useful, but how do I make Cargospaces? It doesn’t show up. ):
You probably just haven’t learned the recipe yet. To craft a cargo carrier you need:
4xSteel Frame
4xLong Rope
4xChunk of Steel or 12xScrap Metal
Okay I have mechanic skill of 18 (Integrated tool set+furnace+joint torsion+solar) so it must be construction or fabrication
You must craft a cargo carrier first, then install it (unlike other storages that are selected during install, requiring just a frame).

You know what… No I don’t. The original build of the RMCC was the right size, there’s no reason to make it pointlessly larger. All I could do is update it’s design, and since I still can’t use it, I see no reason to do so.
Congrats, I guess you’ve won this one. Though you’ll be sadly disappointed when attempting to drive it, assuming your keyframe isn’t outside the reality bubble that is, then you’ll be really disappointed. XD Assuming you fit in that vehicle, I’m pretty sure your char classifies as “large” at the least.
wanders off to find something else to be known for

Now, to remove every board on my vehicle and replace it with stow boards.
if I only I could find the recipe for the mini-fridge…
Anyway, whoever stuck the Armoured car in deserves a cookie. As soon as I find make a safehouse so I have somewhere to empty all the crap out I’ll be taking it apart and turning it into my usual doombuggy. Well, that or a reliant robin.
My new, improved, Solar Roller IV. Kitchen, kitchen buddy, welding rig, electric forge, chem set, and minifridge.
Can you use Steel plates instead of windows? They’re annoying to replace.
Wait wait… Minifridges actually do something now? I’ve had one in my storage for ages since when I found it it was junk.

Introducing: Iron Dog.
I found this puppy (loldogpun) near a gas station with the only thing missing being a engine, so I pulled one out of the nearest car and filled it up. It’s in somewhat good shape, some frame pieces are red but I can fix those. Now I gots me a second Vehicle to boot.
That change was made a few months ago, I recall. THEY PRESERVE FOODIES IN EXCHANGE FOR ELECTRICITIES. That is all
but wait there’s more. If I remember correctly, the minifridge also eats up one full storage battery’s worth of ELECTRICITIES a day while preserving.
