Incredible effective for moving things around places: Drop your ten steel frames and 20 wisky bottles in the box.
Easily Grabbing and moving.
Support little brushes (Fourmicro weels better that two of any size? .____.)
Non large motor because of energy consumition and (primary) problems moving around at very low speed
Go electric, go green, go hippie, GO DIE IN A FIRE
Block sized, environment devouring, plutonium/gasoline hybrids, wheeled factories is were the future is at.Who needs to to manuever along obstacles? If it is between you and your goal steamroll it in the name of progress!
I built a wooden frame, took apart a lawnmower to get the engine, ripped a few parts off some wrecked cars, and duct taped the lot of it into a lighting system for the bunker, so I can read and craft without using wood.
Life is good in the LMOE shelter. I have all the water I could drink and all the fish I could eat, and once in a while I can go upstairs and pick some berries to put in my oatmeal, or shoot an animal for meat. I built a comfy armchair in front of the generator, so I can craft easily.
I have an unmodified Motorcycle upstairs that I use to raid the town. My next project is going to be raiding a Library, I could really use a Survival book, or one of the gun skill books.
The easiest way to read/craft actually is to make a lightstrip. Those things last forever and while they don’t make much light they make enough to see what you’re working on.
Installing a floodlight on a ‘vehicle’ is a great way to illuminate an entire shelter though.
OR finding open lava and building a shelter just on its edge. year round warmth and infinite FIRE. also trash disposal in the form of thowing items into the fiery pits of hell…fire

How do you ride on it? I failed until I did not put him a saddle or a seat.
This is a the first vehicle I’ve ever made from scratch. It’s an electric trike. I designed it for inner city raiding, and I planned to use foot pedals, but I couldn’t find chain or a bike, so I used an electric motor instead, along with a solar panel. It turns out that as well as being quiet it it is DAMN fast, so I intend to use it for exploring as well as raiding.
I love this. Planning to make something similar as soon as I can carry my mechanics tools out of the base…
I’ve got a nice car I found completely intact, but it’s in bad shape now and I can’t find a power welder :
No garages in any near by towns I’ve found :c
If you’re a reasonably skilled mechanic/crafter, you can put together a makeshift welder, not nearly as efficient as a normal one, but good in a bind.

Wow, I just checked my crafting menu and there it was… Now I need to dismantle some things for it
I’ve played Cata DDa for a very long awhile, but never actually got around to making a car, since it seemed like too much work to do when I could just grab one off the street.
But, on the guy I’m on now, I basically became super-human so I thought that I might as well make a car.
So here it is, the Fuck Mobile (WIP)
It’s not done yet, I will be adding more space for more facilities and more storage, of course, and more speedz.
I made it completely from scratch as I felt that just fucking about with a car I found would be cheating. So, what I did was I parked two semi-trucks outside my base and just tore them apart to get the parts to make it.
Later, I also plan on making a smaller motorcycle-thing to get around faster.
