I usually like to keep my stuff small because I usually use a motorcycle. But this thing is as tender as a snowflake right now.
I think I’m going to have to find some better plating.
What exactly does fuel usage depend on?

The engine’s fuel consumption is listed by the liter thing. It also affects speed. That said, that number is the fuel useage at top speed (Per turn)

still a work in progress. Where can a guy find reinforced glass?[/quote]
Reinforced glass can be made from wire, superglue, and a sheet of normal glass. You need four of those panes to make on sheet of reinforced glass. Wire is really easy to get from any place with a fence, ordinary glass panes can be found by deconstructing any intact windows, and you can make superglue fairly easily.
Nothing much compared to some of these, but it works well for me. Just a modified RV with an electric motor, welding rig, onboard chem set, minifridge, kitchen unit, and FOODCO buddy all powered by something like 12 storage batteries fed by six solar panels. The top row of solar panels has two stow boards and a door underneath, and the bottom row of panels all have floor trunks underneath them. I had the panels on the edges, but they kept getting smashed up by zombears. Next step is to replace all the steel plating with hard plating, and the windshield with reinforced glass.
Finally completed the crawler. All the sensitive bits are now protected by hard plating, and I got all my glass reinforced.
Also got a Hybrid thing going on that saves me from having to take many trips to the gas station.
I don’t even know why people use headlights. Use emergency lights and you can see all around your vehicle, they also break less.
I have no idea why you made it like this. But I love it!
Emergency lights are brand new, and many users haven’t had the leisure to experiment with unknowns yet But thanks for the tip!
Headlight beams also “go” further. Emergency lights are great to show off the area around your vehicle, but they only reach/light up so far. Driving at night I need headlights to see oncoming obstructions further ahead. Tip: If the headlights breaking is an issue, with normal vehicle shapes, you can install them in the same square as the windshields (think of it like the “Lightbars” they put on Jeeps and Pickup trucks), it’ll help them survive a little longer.
Emergency lights are also only on ambulances IIRC, so many people using stock cars (Or non-heavily modified cars) won’t have them.
@Heruedhel: Thanks(actually I based the design to look kind of like a nod stealth tank from renagade)
@Isidarth: They are fucking sweet. Check them out, and be sure to have both a red and blue one or you will have a weird strobe light effect.
@Dominae: You have to 'l’ook with them to really be able to see upcoming obstacles however, and that’s such a pain I rather just have a good view around me. Besides, I just feel more comfortable being able to see all around, I guess it’s just a matter of taste.
@Taraq: Emergency lights are also on police cars by the way.
Sunslammer III has the emergency lights for lighting the inside of the vehicle, but headlights for the front and back.
Pfft, get floodlights.
So, I haven’t died yet with Sunslammer III so I haven’t considered the next one.
I personally think that the Sunslammer model line is about as developed as it can be. Moving around is surprisingly easy and the structure is sound. The back and front vision is great when backing up, and in general the this is heavy and indestructible enough to crush almost anything (except cars, damn it.)
Any vehicle builders here have any advice for Sunslammer IV?

Personally, I think it’s too wide. But that’s just me.
God DAMN it, I regret losing the picture of my first supervehicle. It was back in the days of Whalesdev and it was lovely.
Where?
Start making plans for z-axis! Technodrome FTW!
Perhaps the saddest thing about the lack of multiplayer is that I will never be able to see a convoy of these varied monstrosities rolling along… or even through my house.

Start making plans? …Already done.
You can make floodlights. I don’t know where to find them out there…
It’s in the experimental btw
