UPS conversion mod alternative

I want to build a small car. Instead of an onboard chemistry lab, I opt for a recharging station and a chemistry set with UPS conversion.

But right now, UPS conversion mod doesn’t work in the experimental: https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/issues/29961

How do you guys keep your mobile base small in the newest experimental?

Can we make an usb outlet on the car?

I guess I will just wish for battery from time to time.

By the way, are we going to remove the ups conversion mod permanently?

Battery cells are rechargeable, install a charging station in your vehicle and unload your dead batteries into it.
