So, I was walking near a lab and my character started hearing things that scientists in the middle of studying a creature would say. Is this normal, because I can’t find the source of this as the scientist zombies don’t talk as far as I can tell when they can see you.
That’s a mi-go, that monster mimic human speech like a parrot.
I’m not sure it should speak like a scientist outside a lab, but they definitely speak like this in a lab.
Maybe you play with 3D mode and you can hear the monster from the underground? It is just a guess.

They should say things equally anywhere.
And you can hear things that are below you while 3D mode is disabled.
Ahhhhh, ok. That makes sense, and I am indeed playing with the experimental 3d mode on.
I forgot to mention that it does say like, direction and below if it is below you. Like you hear something northwest and below.
