Why not make them toggle-able options in the mod.
Well id like to have it all with a mod or so too . and yeah torture.
I am just not sure whether its worth all the ensuing debates. Might spiral out of controle.
If it’s a toggle-able option included in the game’s mod listing, rather than added independently by the user, someone’s bound to backlash the community as a whole about it. I’m not saying backlash is reason enough to never try anything, but this particular suggeston fields multiple areas people are both very personal and very opinionated about. I suppose my advice is tread lightly, if at all.

Hm this debate spawned an idea in my minde.
How about we make it so sufficient pain makes an npc that is hostile to you willing again to speak with you.
So you can smak the tardiness out of those people if you dun wanna kill em.
optionaly make it be enough injury taken.

That’s the point of torture. When factions get fully integrated you could add on to this system even moreso.
Also. I love how casually we have gotten with talking about the topic of torture. You know we are all a bit ****ed up when that happens.
Well, torture… if we get factions? In war it’s done as a way to get information after all… but still over the edge.

The problem is that sex should probably fall in to two categories.
1, Basic off screen sex with an npc, during trade both you and npc have the “goods” offer sexual services
after trade the screen goes back some time passes and you get a moral boost.
The second is much more long term with survivors trying to have and raise children

If for whatever reason you need to take prisoners, there are several options that could be built out. Less-lethal firearm rounds (already exist, need some more effects), tear gas likewise, the riotbot gas could be loaded into grenades, and there’s chain, rope, and handcuffs available. Ridiculous leather straps are A-OK, and I’d considered them as gear for HUGE/_OK folks: men need revealing gear, and I understand that there are folks who find such gear “very calming” (their words, not mine) in a stress situation.
I’ve considered egg-laying procreation as a post-threshold mutation. Parthenogenesis is a thing and I have no personal problem adding that. Rape is unacceptable, as several others have already handled. Torture is likewise unacceptable.
I know survivors of each. Will spare you the stories. But at the end of the day, PTSD is a lovely thing. May you never experience it.

As in term of unwilling, I’d try to say its not going to about rape, just unwilling stopped by something (Maybe a locked doorway, NPC/s with small light weapon pointing at you, forcing you to talk to them allow robbing food/med/money or paid in sexual way. Just like a robby but allow to choose what to pay for. ), then you can fend off yourself by knee them or shoot them or whatever you like.
Just like kicking away a small humping dog (They will be just keep humping, until you allow them to do more.), but in for mostly everything in the game world but zombie.
Would this be sounding more acceptable?

Not just no but fuck no.
Let me make it as straightforward as possible, there will be no sexual activity depicted in the version of the game under my control that involves any kind of coercion. Coersion + sex = NO
This doesn’t just include content. I will also not allow any infrastructure in mainline that supports it. If you want a rape simulator in the game, you’ll have to write it yourself.
Torture is also out, the depictions of torture in mass media are juvenile and grossly unrealistic. There is absolutely nothing to be gained from torturing someone in the cataclysm except sadistic pleasure, and I have no interest in feeding gratification of that kind.

Hey, I had nothing to do with this! 
But really, I am completely against this. I’d rather not see this game turn into FATAL (if you don’t know what that is, you’re lucky). I’ve been telling my friends about Cataclysm because I think it’s a pretty awesome game and a great example of open source. If that stuff got added in, I’d definitely distance myself from it. There’s a lot more to be lost than gained by adding this type of content, even in a mod. It alienates people, and quite reasonably so. I’m in favor of locking the topic and dropping the subject, personally.
I’m late to this party, but I’m gonna go with “No” also on the grounds that I’ve got plenty of sex games already, CDDA isn’t a porn game. And, personally, despite several sleep deprived moments of what I thought would be hilarious editing, it’s a bad idea.
The Fallout Games (With one exception), The STALKER games, and I’m willing to bet others were post-apocalyptic (…only sorta in a few cases) RPGs that could have featured sexual content, but for the most part didn’t allow the player to partake in it. There were a handful of references, but with the exception of Fallout 2, there was no sexual interaction, regardless of your reasoning for it. (Even in Fallout 2, it was mostly a bad joke.)
On a related subject, I don’t feel the infrastructure for such a mod should be worked into the game. Because with just about everything in the game, once it’s in, it never leaves. The recipe for “Royal Beef” is still in even though it was made obsolete god knows how long ago. if we decide down the line that such functionality is a bad idea, it doesn’t come out because apparently there’s still some guy out there running a save from the first version after Cataclysm was forked into DDA.
