So as I’ve stated, version: 299951eb on the 1666 Win Tiles exp you can repair leather straps for exp on tailoring, after successfully doing so they dissapear from your inventory, kinda weird but better than getting a [glow=red,2,300]none[/glow]
Sounds like the game counts leather straps as melee weapons for the purpose of repairing/reinforcing them.
