Vehicle mounted funnels so that you can automatically funnel water off the roof of your parked car.
Would it be simple to add an option to have the waves in the defence mode not attack until you ask for them. I was thinking that “limited resources, unlimited time” might be a fun alternative.
Why there`s no water coolers in the game in every office and in allmost every home?
Just like that http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/clubpenguin/images/d/d9/Water-Cooler.jpeg/revision/latest?cb=20130831075416 .
They could have some water, some clear water, maybe some spoiled water. But player could detach water tank and use it!
They are very common nowadays! Even in homes.
Indeed! Hense why the suggestion on the last page…
But I guess the more people who independently suggest something…
Could be nice making a makeshift bridge by constructing a vehicle and using steel frames and whatnot to make a sort of floor.
isn’t there a way to build bridges already? Pretty sure I remember there being one, although a vehichle mounted bridge builder speeder upper of some kind would be awesome.
You can use the boats mod build a “boat” vehicle and use it to bridge a river. You could use multiple such vehicles to bridge bigger rivers… you just cannot use them to drive a car across. That would need the implementation of driving cars on the cargospace of cars. And yeah we can build bridges it just takes forever + 1day.
No I mean like, I think I remember seeing something about bridges in construction menu or something.
???
You mean in the menu to build furniture and star vehicle construction? Didn t i just say we can build bridges? Am i missunderstanding you that badly?
sounded like what you were saying was you could build boats and use them as bridges… are player built bridges pedestrian only?
I never tried building one . I would asume you can run a car over them as they change the tile from water into not water (afaik). I can not say for sure though would have to try.
It however takes a considerable amount of effort to do so id rather that you try
Easy enough to test it with the debug menu…
And the result is?
Places like Best Buy, EB Games, and the like filled with morale boosting electronics and batteries (Tons of noisy crap as well.)
(Returns from hiatus)
Yup, constructed bridges can be driven across, which is part of the reason they exist. Time to construct is long, possibly should be adjusted. If I feel like coding again sometime soon, construction vehicles (enabling mass construction) were something I wanted to work on.
(Disappears again)
[Construction Menu]
_[Tree Bed]
Materials: A sheet, two short ropes and six rags; sewing kit/bone needle with 40 charges;
Tools: Basic cutting will suffice;
Prerequisites: Survival 3, Sewing 3, Construction 1;
Description: Nature lover’s bed can be constructed up any mature tree. Given that the branches are high and symmetric enough, the character may start the first construction phase on the adjacent square, relative to the chosen tree and designated branches. Survivor must:
a) succesfully climb up the tree,
b) work those branches with the cutting tool,
c) secure the construction.
Fun facts: Waking up in a forest swarming with zombies has never been more enjoyable! Loads of fresh air, and human-cannonball zombie-pin bowling; jumping off a tree starts the game, guns allowed.
Notes: Altough rainy nights shouldn’t be that much of a problem if one owns a sleeping bag, thunderstorms and blizzards or otherwise extremely windy conditions should urge the survivor to search for a shelter.
Is it possible to inject NPCs with Mutagen? Could we get to a point where we could have in the lab start a ‘Scientist’ profession who, if they escape, could go around tying down npcs and experimenting on them? (I can’t think of a reason to turn into a raptor, or a slime, but hey, if I can do it to an npc…) …
It has been stated by a dev afaik that tzhis kind of thing is not considdered for reasons that i forgot.
A discussion followed in which the devs reinforced theire view on the topic. So forget about injection mutagen into others.
The idea of injecting NPCs with mutagen against their will was vetoed because moral implications.
The best you can hope for is convincing them to take the muts (not yet implemented, but maybe someday). Plus, this one would actually make sense in the game: mutagen isn’t cheap, better followers could be useful.
Yeah, non-consensually mutating others isn’t going to happen, and neither is coercing 'em into “consenting”. Thanks.
