Metal Zombies- Vulnerable to shock, have 30 base 100% armor, Very slow, gives triple Exp from attacking, and hits pretty hard
Metal Hulk- Nuff said
There is the atomic battery mod already. Not quite infinite power, but a pretty ludicrous amount of power.[/quote]
Doesn’t it make the item heavy as shit though?

Just tested it, and nope. I know it used to, but it looks like the functionality was changed. It can take up to 20 plutonium cells (and comes with one baked in from making the mod), and goes from .88 lbs for an empty regular flashlight to 4.96 pounds for an atomic flashlight with 10,000 charge.
Not gonna lie, five pounds for a flashlight is a bit more than I care to haul around. Is that with one plutonium cell granting 10k charges, or twenty plutonium cells granting 500 charges each? (The latter seems awfully low for a plutonium cell.)

That’s with 20 providing 500 each. Not great, but certainly better than it used to be.
I think the math for the weight used to assume there were batteries in there or something so with 10k charge it would weigh a bit more than 10,000 batteries.

In that case, I could see the upgrade being worth it–maybe–but I sure as hell wouldn’t fill it up all the way.
Other alternative to atomic flashlights: Why not just stick a few flashlight to an UPS and call it a high-power electric lantern?
I would like to see some improvement to canned and vacuum-packed food. As of now, canned and vacuum-packed meat have zero advantage over smoked meat, they have low nutrition to volume ratio and add the inconvenience of unpacking every one of them (and it takes quite a few of them to get full from very hungry).
Perhaps the nutrition could go up a little? Like, by 200%? Wouldn’t mind if it weighed three times as much and took 3 times the ingredients to make.

I keep thinking I should learn how to code and add some canned-prepared-foods recipes like soups, to make jars and the vacuum sealer cool.
Utterly monstrous bows that you cannot fire effectively without using the Hydraulic Muscles CBM. Otoh, they can oneshot just about anything.
Diamond punch dagger and diamond tiger claws.
Sand-crate for storing root vegetables or hard fruit like apples in, delaying the rot. IRL these allow storing potatoes (in-game spoils 240) for 6 months or so. Sand plus some planks to keep it in, drop roots there and they last longer than otherwise.
Activateable liquids and container-bound liquids. So that it is possible to make a bound 500gallon vat of sealed pickled meat…
You could also make a recipe that produces nitro-glycerine that you are unwilling to transfer between containers…
Or maybe you could activate sodium bicarbonate and it would consume vinegar for a morale boost and turn into salt-water…
Why do crafting stations block LOS? It is kind of limiting the configuration one can have inside a vehicle since placing them anywhere except outside walls of the vehicle will deny access to all storage compartments in the same space. For example:
===@
=&&=
=&&=
====
A configuration such as this would prevent the player from getting ingredients from almost half of the available cargo spaces simply because crafting stations are denying LOS.
Instead, you have to go with something like this:
&==&
&@=&
====
====
which makes your crafting stations vulnerable to collisions when you’re driving diagonally.
Increase the Marksmanship and Rifles skill of the Bionic Sniper profession to 8 each, and increasee the cost of choosing that profession to 10-12 points.
yes
i might code that, i made the other diamond weaps
I sort of like that I can control which ludicrous mounds of ingredients I am looking at at any given time, perhaps add something that blocks vision and can coexist with crafting stations?
We need a potato launcher.
Make Power armor more resistant to acid and actually protect you from it, is ceramics and superalloy even vulnerable to acid
I say we just halve or quarter acid damage in general.
