Needful things (simple additions to improve the game)

If you’re changing trait costs, you should reduce masochist to costing 1 point. It’s completely worthless.

Masochist gives you something to do on those lonely, sleepless nights.
Cut yourself up for fun, practice first-aid.

Leaping.
Activatable action that lets you jump 2 or more tiles. Length is factored by carried weigth, strength,mutations/bionics speed and such. Landing gracefully is determined by Dex, Parcour and mutations/bionics. Thus we can jump into cover, away from explosions and fires and maybe reach points we wouldn’t otherwise.

Agreed, and also certain mutations can affect certain… Things.
For example:

Deft: You jump over the zombie, slice your Katana in a wide-arc, directly in it’s face for 153 Damage!

Claws: You jump right into the zombie, and start tearing it limb-to-limb for 2

Parkour Expert: You drop-kick the zombie for 23 damage and it stumbles backward!

Tail: You hit the zombie with your tail, knocking it down for 43 damage!

Fangs, Claws, Post-Threshold Mutation: You pounce the zombie, and start devouring it for 142 Damage! (You also lower hunger…)

And MOOOOORRREEEE

Why does the blunderbuss only has one single mod slot that is the stock? No room for a rifle sling or iron sights? At least a grip mod?

I suspect that iron sights would not be particularly helpful considering that the bludgerbuss has a somewhat vague approach to accuracy.

And would you really apply a grip mod to your elegantly engraved ivory and precious metal embossed grip? Admit it, you have a mental image of your blunderbuss, that blunderbuss’ handle is the most beautiful thing that your character will ever make!

I assure you that what you are asking may improve the game, but is decidedly NOT simple.

Make this happen please.

I was thinking more about the version from Looper

The V12 equivalent of the electric motor. Because I want my over 3000 horsepower electric sports car, damnit!

I’d rather just see the plasma engine get some love–or an engine that runs off the minireactor exclusively…

this game needs a teleporting car… but ithink that may be difficult

Your car teleports!
You skid off the ground for 240 damage!
Your car reappears!
You’ve been struck by the car!
You’ve been telefragged!

you beat me to it

Exactly :stuck_out_tongue:

Though a teleporter ram seems awesome…

It’d be pretty neat if you could unzip/open certain jackets to reduce how warm they are. Maybe a 15-20 warmth reduction?

That would give lighter warmth clothing a lot of flexibility, and allow some of the heavier winter clothing to be useful outside of ice labs.

I want atomic lamps, PDAs, cellphones and gamesystems. I mean: They already gave us atomic nightlights and coffeemakers and I don’t think that they (Rivtech) would miss up such a chance.

Atomic lamp: Doesn’t need to be recharged and can be turned on/off
Atomic cellphone / PDA / Gamesystem: Like the regular version powered by a plutonium cell, which means no need to recharge

Those could be made if you find a book with the recipes in it + plutonium (1 cell for cellphone, 2 for lamp, 2-3 for gamesystem and 3-4 for PDA), and other components + high electronics skill (maybe no craftable cellphones but the rest)

And while we are at it: Atomic power mods for electronics

Allows you to use the electronic modified with it to be used without the need of beeing recharged. BUT would take 1-5 plutonium cells and other stuff to be made (have no idea how to balance it properly yet)+ recipe from a book + high electronics skill

There is the atomic battery mod already. Not quite infinite power, but a pretty ludicrous amount of power.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned yet, but the ability to remove wheels from vehicles with a hacksaw instead of a jack would be nice.

EDIT: And the ability to cut a security system out of a car without 8 Mechanics. Maybe it can set off the alarm or something temporarily, but it’s ludicrous that I can strip a solar car for parts and keep upgraded solar panels intact, but this crappy little beemer with The Club attached to the steering wheel prevents me from salvaging the controls or frame it’s attached to.
