Multiple scenarios lost their starting NPC in the rework

“Assault on Precinct Z” and “Fled the Riots” are examples of two scenarios that started with both zombies surrounding the location and a starting NPC. In the rework, these two scenarios were integrated into Surrounded, which does not have a starting NPC. It’s impossible to recreate those two old setups in the new flexible scenarios because of the loss of the NPC.

  • Was this the intended direction for scenarios like those?
  • Is it possible o get an option for some scenarios to toggle having the starting NPC on setup?

You can set “Starting NPCs” option to always before creating a world, and all scenarios will spawn a NPC next to your character on game start.
