Latest experimental, how to take in clothes?

So I’ve been looking for a way to take in all the (poor fit) clothes I’ve been picking up, and I originally thought when I couldn’t do it with a sewing kit that it must take a tailor’s kit. But when I managed to get my hands on a tailor’s kit, I found that I couldn’t do it with that either.

Can anyone tell me what I’m messing?

You have to use the Tailors kit to repair the clothing and once it’s fully repaired do the “Reinforce” option. It’ll fit the cloths to you then.

Note this is not the Reinforce with leather or Kevlar option, just the “make this item a little more sturdy” option you get from the mend cloths menu.
