Started new game as a mall cop I started a fire to cauterize an infected wound. I forgot to try and contain the fire before so I tried doing it after I cauterized and the building collapsed. Then when trying to escape the fire by going through the rubble the fire spread like it was running from a fire so I burned to death.

It can spread on that Z-level, but it can’t go up or down yet.
Also, it will only work outside current z-level if you have the experimental z-levels world option on (the option, not the mod).

It was dark out and I was very thirsty and went to a grocery store to get some drink of sorts. I had my flashlight on and after getting some food and drinks I see a zombie brute. I try to run and was sent flying but still alive and I kept trying to run but ended up being dead.

New record for me, managed to die of alcoholism (low health due to extreme drinking) on the 5th day, and I am actually impressed that it didn’t happen earlier. Probably went through more than a ton of alcohol of a dozen different types and managed to remain either drunk or thrashed all the time. (had more than a 100 empty bottles piled up and 60 cans)

I might be able to pull it off with just tipsy and addiction resistance though…and some health boosting items wouldn’t hurt too.

Oh well it was FUN.

Ran out of ammunition while training my Handgun skill, and realized I hadn’t dropped off the LAW I looted earlier.

Test fired the LAW at a crawling zombie.

Forgot I was in a gas station.

Seems there was some sort of rebalance lately as lab turrets are much more deadly to survivor armor clad survivors. I hadn’t found any Science ID cards so I jackhammered into the lab entrance from the opposite end of the hallway. The turret nailed me from the other end (about 10 tiles) even though I was wearing full survivor gear (suit, boots, gloves, mask, helmet).

fucking hell. Tanks should be loud when they move tho, and if they were accurately scaled it’d be better since they would bump in a lot of shit and maybe get stuck instead of going nearly everywhere a man can.

Yep. Now it seems to be either teleporter out, hope you somehow find an ID card or acetylene torch, or…die.

I’ve yet to see what kind of explosive can get through the new bunker walls. Grenades, matchbombs, pipebombs, molotov cocktails, and acid bombs are right out.
